I am soon going to be in charge of installing and maintaining these systems on are fleet of CAIMANS for the rest of our deployment. If anyone knows where I can get more information and how to install a complete system please let me know. I can't find and instrustions or TMs from the last unit, or on the WWW.
Thanks so much.

2 weeks ago you found this exact same piece of equipment in the "junk" and wanted to install it as an office security camera.
got onto quite some rapid deployment huh?

That is considered "sensitive equipment" and I find it hard to believe that your unit has no information or at the minimum the TMs for it ! In my unit the people that take care of that are the mechanics that work in our Caimans and other vehicles . Why are you incharge of installing them ?

If anyone has the information I can email them with my .MIL email address. This is a continuation of my previous post. I can not find any manuals or help on these things. I just have the one truck with a working system to work from. the wires are all covered with panels and armor, so I'm limited on knowing what else constitutes a complete system.

How is this a continuation of the your first post which you claimed to have 'found' the kit in a junk pile and now you are issued them by your unit with NO instructions? A .mil address means little when your story has changed from the first post.

There isn't anything going on. I'm just trying to get help without putting out too much information. If anyone knows about these systems please help if you can. I can reach you with my .mil if necessary. Thank you. J

I have been writing DRS and haven't gotten a reply. My former foreman gave me a resource to find the info in digital copy online, but the website requires a login/pass that I've never gotten. I'll have a chance to pull a system apart next week, hopefully...
Thanks again.

son first of all what's your pay grade and MOS?
second of all you obviously are not looking in the right areas everything has an applicable TM, ETM. MWO TB or something that transpires online if you look in the right area and if that fails find a high speed E-3

numb nuts HeloSoldier, don't ask questions about drivers night vision gear on an internet forum. If you are seeking information go talk to either your units como guy or armor. if that fails find out the 3rd shop at the FSB that fixes them and ask them, or speak to the section chief over their, it is not rocket science to get this information, just need to ask the right people. if you are E-5 and over, you = FAIL for being lazy and not looking hard enough.

I wouldnt call my situation here very supported. I am a good couple hours from my entire section and stay in touch through the internet more then any other way (tigrisnet, 9th wonder of the world). I have my vehicles here that we brought, they are to be brought up to speed with the local transit team, which means salvaging equipment like this. In the near future I'll get a chance to inspect a complete system on another maxxpro. So hopefully I will get help and be on my way. I like this community, can't wait to browse and contribute more when I get a chance.

Ok, HOLLiS. I am a bit isolated, and knowing my pay-grade and any other information has nothing to do with helping my inquiry. I'm glad that my post has gotten attention so swiftly, I just wish I had better luck with the answers. Though I understand your suspicions. I cannot go putting my status and information on the nets out here, and that should be understood on your part. I do apologize if my discretionary measures have thrown this post of its intended path.
All I ask is for a path to a path for the information I have been searching for. I can provide all the credentials at that point to an official body, as opposed to posting on a public internet forum.

I lol'd, twice.
Helosolider, you want help from the internet about materials which are likely to be OPSEC, what did you expect?

AKO, if you are who you say you are, go there. They even have forums.
Or ask your NCO's. Frankly I wouldnt give you any info without knowing who you are and are you Legit.
We cant ask you who won the World Series or is married to Rita Hayworth anymore to vet someone. Anyone could find this gear and try to figure it out.

I'm using one of the best avenues available to get help. I would hope that no one on here would just pass out sensitive information such as this like party gifts. I was just hoping I'd find someone else out there who might have "been-there-done-that" that could help. If I had started my search on here earlier I would have used your referances right off the bat. Unfortunatley I feel like a fish out of water, not only with this job, but with my whole being where I am and the reasoning behind it. I'll keep playing with things out here while I can, I have a knack for that. If it comes down to me explaining in more detail these systems to the next team, or my shop, I would like to have all the information they would need already organized and printed, set-up to go.

I tried to access AKO, non-HTTPS, on this network and now my account is locked until I can CAC-login. I can still access my email through the SIPR, but that's only local net, I suppose. If I found someone willing to help I can prove my position and location in many ways. Like I said, I expect nothing less from a board like this when it come to OPSEC and such. Please forgive my earlier and admittedly "hasty" posts, that I feel ruined a possible resource.

EDIT: Note to all other forum users- do not send HeloSoldier89 any information, be it about Drivers Vision Enhancers or anything else. At this stage his bona fides have not been confirmed.

@helo, screw these guys.
Here is what you do, you get some duct tape and some of that green shoe lace material that is always laying around. Double wrap that duct tape and stick that bastard right on the drivers window. After that punch a small hole, be careful so it doesnt break totally you just want a small hole-there has to be a small drill around, and then stick some of that green rope through it and tie it to a commo post. Then take the external and wrap it around the light like five times. Take the power wires, cut them in half that extra is bullsht anyway our Chief told us to whack em down to size, and duct tape them to a 9 volt.
Situation solved, please post pics if you get stuck half way through and i will walk you through best i can.
