I have been looking at some resources on the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974. A number of references mention an EM69 90mm AT weapon.

For example, from Wikipedia

"The main plan was to cooperate with the Greek Cypriot LOK in deploying a number of machine guns and anti-tank weapons (the Greeks had three 90mm EM69s)."

From what I can gather it was a 90mm unguided rocket launcher, like a Bazooka or a Carl Gustav.

Can anyone provide any further information, such as manufacturer and performance. A picture would be great.

Thanks

Bill

Ha, that was easy, thanks for the quick reply. Must have been an interesting weapon to fire from the shoulder.

In the Greek Army is known as PAO 90mm (recoiless rifle 90mm).
