I was nineteen when I started living alone but that was only because I was sent to jail for a crime I didn't commit.

Well I moved out when I was about 18 (college), but now that I'm living above California Joe's garage, I suppose I'm back in a nest again. ;) Man, he's a toughie, he says no loud music, no raucus parties, no illegal substances, no doing doughnuts on my Goped on his lawn. Stick it to the man! p-)

At 19 I left America for Australia all by my lonesome... and Im still here a few years on

you like it, I assume. what was it like getting up and leaving everything like that?? and what was involoved with being able to work down under ect... I was born here so it was a bit easier for me than most. Right after my birth my family moved to the middle east and in 84 they decided that I should get Aus citizenship for safety reasons. Left for America in 91 during gulf war 1 and then came back here in 97 for university.
Just come on down with a few extra grand and pay a girl to marry you straight off the bat, apply for permanent residency, and then join the Defence Force. Seriously though, how much you are able to work and how long you can stay is governed by what country you are from - rule are more lenient for Commonwealth members.
how easy was it for me to move? I had moved around all my life and, except for my family and few close friends, I have tenuous attachments to both people and things so it was a piece of cake. By 97 I was dying to move to a different country. Im just about at that point again now.
