I know it can be looked up, but still.

Just how many modern jet fighters does Australia have?

Just how many modern jet fighters does Australia have?So far we're running the new Hawks as a trainer to replace the PC-9 and recon as well. Still have a few of the old FA-18's but most are in refit or repair. Other than that you'll see a number of F-111's.

Australia bought 75 FA/18A's back in the mid 1980's to replace the Mirage III. Of these, atleast four have crashed or been written off from memory leaving 71 aircraft.

We've got three fighter/attack Squadrons - No.3, No.75, No.77 with the FA/18A+'s. It is well known publically that we still lack the aircrew for these aircraft, and with the Kiwi's losing their fighter/attack aircraft - quite a few former RNZAF pilots and aircrew have re-mustered to the RAAF (along with a few ex-Canadian and US pilots too btw).

Anyways, how could you guys get a hard on over the Ronnie RAAF ADG'ies? Carn guys, I thought you guys around here were actually full bottle on how things go in the ADF and who are the big dogs and wannabe's on the 'ADF block'.

The Blue Orchid ADG'ies *look* tough, but aren't the goods. Believe me ;) LOL

Great photos, especially of our Singaporean mates and their sexy F-16's.

Okay - my opinion - all the gear no idea.
Served with them - ate with them - slept with them (well in the same accomodation ;))

Trust me not all of them are jerk - offs there are some great adgies - but for the most part they are tossers who think they are SF - so ****ing what if they were the first non SF unit to get issued with vests and chest webbing!!

And wow they train with the SASR - they must be SF hey rofl

You are absolutely right about there being some cocks that are ADGS. Every Unit has them though. Even Army.
Not too sure about being issued Chest Rigs though. I've never seen them. Must be a urban myth.
