Could anyone tell me about the M4 CQB Variant seen in Afghanistan/Iraq by US Special Forces?
Thanks
The only difference between the M4(14.5in.bbl) and the CQB(10.5in.bbl) is the barrel length.

And those who usually have them can swich lengths by mearly replacing the upper reciever. They will have one with the standard length and one with the "CQB" length.

With a 10.5" Bbl., Ballistics render it effective only at close range. The standard SOPMod M4 is prevalent with 'Special Operations Units' due to better trajectory at distance using a longer Bbl. Most CQBRs are used for CPD and by FAST (http://www.specwarnet.com/americas/fast.htm).
