Hi Guys,

I tried to find a similar post but didn't have much luck, was wondering if anyone is intersted in sharing their favourite collectables, can be from any era. My first lot of favourites are Knights.

Awesome is that a Gordon Highlanders Glengarry?

Also Walther and Luger? I am not great with my weapons identification

Yes, the glengarry is from the Gordon Highlanders. The pistols are a pair of Lugers: a 1916 Erfurt and an artillery model.

Pictured above are the Lugers with my Walther, a 1942 model. Also, my other glengarries.

They are mainly 54mm/1:32 however the pewter ones are about 4 inches

I have about 12,000 1/72nd scale figures (about 1,000 of which I have painted so far), plus about 200 or so Warhammer figures (and growing).

Man that is awesome. It is my dream to build (once I have a house as it takes up too much room in my unit) a full scale replica of the Battle of Hattin and also of a few other Crusader battles...I sometimes wonder why I am singe :)

You need to drop a scale or two to make that manageable. I'd suggest 10mm or 15mm. Then you can have hundreds of figures on the scene.

A couple of 1/72nds you might find interesting:

Awesome miniatures! :D I have some from my more active pen & paper RPG era ('86 onwards, original D&D, AD&D (1st/2nd), Rolemaster, Hârnmaster, CoC etc.). Mostly fantasy ones from Ral Partha, Grenadier, Games Workshop etc. Reaper miniatures are pretty awesome, will start collecting them at some point > http://www.reapermini.com

Currently collect fountain pens (first gen. rOtring 600 series mostly), ACME metal whistles, books on metallurgy, blade smithing, nihonto and Art Nouveau/Jugend (Fin de siècle/Belle Époque era also). Oh, music albums too.

Will expand to H&K/LWRCi guns, nihonto and other blades as funds allow...

Call it my OCA* (or satisfying my hunter/gatherer trait). ;)
