Pablo Osorio Payán “El Pablito”, drug trafficker and hitman of the Sinaloa cartel was killed by orders of Gonzalo Inzunza Inzunza “El Macho Prieto” in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora. ''El Pablito'' was in charge of the distribution of drugs in Sonoyta. And according to authorities he had stopped taking orders from Inzunza.
He was now trafficking independently and to increase his profits he was stealing shipments of drugs that were being destined to other traffickers in the region, generating a number of killings in the area.
The body of ''El Pablito'' and other men were found on the Kilometer 37 , federal road located in Sonoyta–Puerto Peñasco on the 11th of December. All of the bodies had a shot in the head.
Authorities haven't revealed who took his place, but the clashes are still going on in the location, the shipment of weaponry confiscated by the army this last 14th of December confirms it.
The men transporting the weaponry were captured after trying to avoid a military checkpoint.
The men arrested were Martín Flores Pacheco, Sergio Antonio Amador Pérez y José Ramón Angulo Loaiza. Flores was a former soldier and authorities say he was getting ready to use a grenade launcher.
Angulo declared that the shipment of firearms had arrived on an airplane and it was property of ''El Macho Prieto'' to supply his group of gunmen because they were getting ready to attack '' El Pablito's'' gunmen.

probably from the states along with the ak the thumb-hole stock either stolen or brought openly. AKs on the black market if your paying wholesale are cheap enough its not worth fixing the stock with a dorky looking stock.
the full autos and serious hardware is from the black market bit something like an FN2000 or the FN five seven came form the states think about it some stuff is bound to go across the border its either going to be stuff that can be picked up easily for the poorer gangster.
OR flash stuff for a gangster with more cash.
if you have lots of cash you can buy in bulk FA aks

the narcos love 5.7mm weapons. Those along with civilian weapons, Post ban ARs, Thumbhole AKs such as MAK90s wasrs, FS2000 and PS90 come from the
US. now the old school Colt commandos, A1s, Type 56s, LAWS, RPGS, M60s and alot of the General AR pattern weapons come from local mexican sources, and from south, were the 80s saw tons of weapons dropped of to fight civil wars.

Yeah, most of the Five-Sevens have been confiscated from the Sinaloa cartel. They have become popular among ''El Mayo's'' gunmen.

I don't know why the 5.7's are so popular. Sure they shoot at a nice distance with a flat trajectory with high round count mags, but the ammo is expensive and the lethality is highly debated compared to common caliber JHP pistol rounds. Too each their own I guess.

Thumb hole stocks and AWB compliant weapons must have been smuggled into Mexico before 2004 so those suckers have been sitting there awhile.

The AUG and FS2000 were probably special request firearms either personally purchased by the persons using them or requested to be purchased, because they're not cheap and in the case of the AUG A1 not super common. I mean if you're an American smuggling in weapons or just a general gun runner I think your money would be better spent buying the 5 or 6 AKs you could get for the price of one FS2000. Plus how many spare parts for AUGs and FS2000s could they possible have sitting around? In the case of the AUG the magazines aren't exactly the most common ones either.

that is a Cobray 37mm flare launcher. most are just slapped on to look cool, but some are rebarreled to accept 40mm.
