Hey everybody interested to know any info on US railway guns during the1920's to the WWII era.
I know California had a handful but cannot find any info on types and what the consist was (types of cars for the trains and stuff)
Iv'e tried my google-fu and my wiki-fu and both have come up fail

Eight inch U.S. Navy railway gun, I think at New Battery Laie, Hawaii.

This is a 12 inch railway gun preserved at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Virginia .
