Sam Browne belt.

Anyone have any tips on how to store thier Sam Browne belt? I was wondering how others store there patent leather gear. It seems pretty easy to scratch. Also what do you use to shine it up, Windex seems to work well, any other tips would be appreciated.

We don't have patent gear - we have to bull it, but...

Boots and shoes, I keep covered with a pair of cheap nylon socks (no fluff).
Sam Browne, I keep in an old pouch liner in a large plastic box.
Medals, I keep wrapped in tissue paper in a padded envelope.
Lovats, Blues and Mess Kit, I keep in good quality suit carriers in a wardrobe.
Peak Cap, I keep wrapped in tissue paper in the box it came in.
