What do you gents make of this crap? Seems like the last thing Congress needs to get its hands on is the SOF forces. This seems like a HUGE mistake to me. Hopefully it doesn't go through.

typical of those im power. forget the lessons learned in previous conflicts (VIETNAM!!!) yet they REMEMBER the mistakes made there, i.e. the micromanaging of our forces. SOF guys in vietnam did the best when they were left the hell alone! ppl who dont know what these guys can do should know better then to interfere. If anything, i'm all for giving the SF guys MORE independance. set em down in a country, and let them do their thing. pols. delving into what our military is doing never has any positive effect. more often then not, this sort of micromanaging gets people killed (vietnam, somalia) scuse me while i go rant and rave some more about this
