i'm stationed in germany and theres no place to get boots re-soled with custom soft soles and such like there is in the states right of their posts. i've been looking on the net for somewhere i can send boots to get them re-soled and have them sent back to me, but haven't had any luck. i ask this now because i just got done with a 12 mile ruck run in standard jungles (yay infantry, we do the cool stuff...) and my feet aren't happy with me. and no my feet don't hurt because i wore new boots, they're very well broken in, in fact they're damn near smooth on the heel.

I know a place in Maryland that I've used before. I got some great vibram hiking boot soles put on my jungles. I'll get the address and prices from a buddy later this morning.

Go Poland... I don't know about quality or availability of specific kinds of soles because I never done that, but I found "sole changing" in their offer...

I didn`t know you can resole jungle boots, that`s a new perspective for me, cuz I love my old jungle boots, but the inner sole is gone and the panama slicker than a race tire.

Sure I do, send them to Maryland too ;) EDIT: This place is actually in Virginia I think.

This place is great. Their site is http://www.militarybootrepair.com/ They do really excellent work. I had a pair done about 2 years ago now, and they've held up like a champ. Granted I don't wear boots THAT often, as we wear low quarters to class on a daily basis. But I've still done some pretty good rucking and other stuff with them, and I've loved them. I'll take a picture of mine when I grab my digital camera out of my car, but this is the sole I had put onto my jungles:
