What are the differences between these groups of men?

Both of these groups ripped apart their countries in support of violent, outdated, and inhuman practices (Religious fundamentalist government, and slavery)

While these two groups might seem different at the surface, they fought for similar reasons and have a similar effect.

Ah the famous *****sburg photo. Are you trying to make the comparison between the Confederacy and modern-day terrorists? Besides fighting for what they believe in, these groups are totally different. Anyways...on a lighter note, modern-day terrorists can't do the Rebel Yell or have good old boys like Stonewall and Robert E. Lee

Confederates were traitors to the Union and the Confederate flag should never be flown next to old glory.

Good Lord, not another "Southerners are evil" thing. Comparing Confederate soldiers to the Taliban is just dumb.

The difference is that the Rebels in the ACW didn't intentionally target civilians on a regular basis.
