My rant is with the Australian Football League and the Melbourne Cricket Club who own the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG Australia's premier sporting facility).
They have a rediculous 40 year agreement to play four AFL finals a year at the ground regardless of if a interstate team has earned the right to hold a home final.
This year it looks like the Sydney Swans and West Coast Eagles from Perth are likely to have to play in Melbourne for the first final, they will be lucky if ten thousand people show up to watch.
The AFL are more than likely going to relent and let Sydney host the game which they wouldn't do in a thousand years if a Melbourne team was involved and may get an advantage out of it.
:-*$ to the AFL and :fork: to the MCC and :slap: to Victorian govt who could fix it if they wanted to.
