So, what could be in those files, secret cooperation or spying?

its not really only about the nuclear part. The law they are doing here is about any data the gov is holding with a max time of 25-50 years.

today the gov can hold a archive for 30 years and renew its supersecret status forever. So we have things from paraguay war still under secret for example.

both the gov and the foreign relations area already backed down and said everything can be released. So i find very hard the law not passing in the next months.
