We should insert a SEAL team some night and just drive away in the thing... THe next morning the NK's will awake to see something missing, but they will be too stupid and brainwashed to even realize the large gray object that used to stand out is missing. rofl

You guys should do something about it, I know how it feels when another country holds a piece/symbol of their loss (Bells of Balangiga). Has there been any attempt to have the USS Pueblo returned?

I think when it was first captured, we asked for it (with all that spy **** on it, I think we would want it back). NK basically told us to go **** ourselves, come and TAKE it. Since we were already at war with another south east asain at the time....I don't think the political climate would have been right to start another one ;)

Firt of all, that ship was a US spy ship, infiltrating the DPRK border. And at first, the US denied the incident, just like what your nation did when the U2 surveillance plane crashed into a Soviet jet. You should thank those communist maniacs for at least bringing in 82 survivors back, instead of riddling them with bullets. You Americans aren't that clean on that matter either.

Sometimes I think sarcasm is dead when it come to the internet.
Seriously though, if we had a DPRK's spy ship, they deny it, if we shot down Soviet spy plane, they deny it...so, what's your point?
It's the spy business, you know the other person know but pretend that the other person doesn't know and the other person know that you know but you're pretending not to know so they pretend not to know and you know that they know you know but you're pretending and you know that they know you're pretending so you pretend to not know...I think.

Shiller, your pathetic revisionist history is purposely suited to stoke your Anti-American agenda.
1) The USS Pueblo was exactly 15.8 miles away from the nearest landmass as verified by radar, well outside of the 12-mile territorial waters boundary afforded states according to international law. She was the first U.S. Navy ship to be hi-jacked on the high seas by a foreign military force in over 150 years.
2) Merely 40 hrs. before the North Korean S0-1 fired upon the USS Pueblo with it's 57mm guns, a 31 man North Korean squad dressed in South Korean uniforms crossed the DMZ and was attempting to infiltrate the Presidential Palace when they were detected and defeated in an incident known as the 'Blue House Raid'.
3) Duane Hodges was not a thankful survivor brought back after 11 months of severe beatings and torture. He was killed shortly before the initial boarding party.
4) After being forced into North Korean territorial waters under gunfire and forced escort, a group of 'higher ranking' North Korean Officers and a Civilian Pilot were ferried from a Torpedo Boat to take them to Wonsan.
5) Hispanic crewmembers were severely beaten. You actually have the gall to say that we should be 'thankful' that the North Koreans did not kill any more crewmembers during this seizure...
just like what your nation did when the U2 surveillance plane crashed into a Soviet jet.
What U2 EVER crashed into a Soviet jet??? Please enlighten me!
You Americans aren't that clean on that matter either.
Remember that it was North Korea that invaded South Korea and attempted to subjugate the entire populus through military force. Cold War Politics was never 'Clean'. What's your origin; hmm, let me guess, Germany?

I take it back man.....I guess I made a mistake about the U2 plane(got confused by the Chinese jet incident)
Don't get too emotional mate, I just wanted to complain about some pretty hard-headed comments hanging up there.
And no, I'm not German. I live in Valladolid, but I'm Irish.
