Comsubin SF unit could use this helos for special missions, or its only for fight against enemys underwater ships??

Italian navy bought 8 EH101 ASW,4 EH101 eliborne early warning and 8 EH101 ASH (amphibious support helicopter),the ASH version is for COMSUBIN and S. Marco regiment.

Does the US military want to buy it ? As far as I know It's better than Blackhawk....

I don't think the US would buy a eurocopter, even if it was better.
They have a huge domestic industry, which they want to support. It's about jobs. Jobs mean money. Money means happy voters. Happy voters mean good for politicians... :|

I like the look of that heli. In some pictures it reminds me of a CH-53, and in others it reminds me of a UH-60. It just looks... "functional" I can't describe it better than that. :)

In the website they state US VARIANT of the proven EH101.
Every country makes changes for their needs and they usually use the manpower and technology in their own country. Its not uncommon and they never said it was the ALL AMERICAN us101 that I saw.

Notice the camouflaged FLIR on the nose.
(Photo's from Bosnia, at least I hope it's Bosnia. If not Wales has gone downhill since I last visited. :)
