Always on the look out for a good machete I stumbled across something Ive never seen before.
Supposed British "Special Forces" machete.
Ive only ever seen the "tree beater" with the wooden handle before.
Anyone seen this before? Is it new, or BS, or I just been asleep!??

That's just a Malayan parang with a different handle.

That's a headhunting sword 4 tune, "Nabur'. The one I'm talking about is the general purpose parang used by peoples in Southeast Asia.

"Golok" is the term used in Malaya/Peninsular Malaysia, while "Parang" is more commonly used from where I'm from, Malaysian Borneo. Differences in dialects to describe the same thing!

I was thinking it was a parang too, btw they just stick the word Special forces in front of stuff like that to sell it, SF use any piece of equipment they like, no company has exclusive right's to that sort of thing, it's bs
