This one's for the science nerds and those like me who just have basic interest in the cosmos. Both funny but also extremely interesting at the same time I learned a few new things, and don't worry Colbert isn't in character. Interview was done last year.

io9 is everyones dirty secret with half a brain it seems...and I honestly had dismissed colbert because of the character he plays, without looking deeper.

Tyson is a very intelligent man. A lot of people hate because of the Pluto thing :)

The guy grew up in the Bronx and found his way because his father took him to museums and expos...Maybe it was'nt the South Bronx, but de Grasse Tyson did probably not grow up in a cocoon environment.
Kudos to his father for having done just a little more than simply put food money on the table.
And of course, to him. It's pretty rare to find knowledge, wisdom, oratial skills and humor combined.
