"I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought,
but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." Albert Einstein
As for the parties in WWIII, I hope it never happens, but an alliance between the East Asian Communist powers and Muslim states against the USA, Europe, India, Israel, Japan, South Korea, etc could be very likely.

In a sense we are kinda already engaged in it...
Free world vs. The not so free and radical world.

What you dont like nuclear winter?
::sarcasm::
It probably will be like others have said, free world against the not.
china in combination with muslims doesnt make any sense at all, since china has lots of problems with muslims in its own country as well.... china + nk isnt really likely as well since china aint exactely the 'old' commy china anymore; it's starting to capitalize (become capitalist if u will).. USA vs the free world might be an option tho...

The Chinese are the biggest capitalist pigs of them all! The ****ers love money. I believe they are too weak right now to turn on us (They dont even have a deep water navy) But 15-20 years from now who knows..
Our greatest enemy at the moment seems to be complacency..

Well, an Aryan Supremacist state allying with a Japanese nationalist state doesn't really make sense either, but look what happened in the 1940s. The "bad guys" understand the axiom "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" just as much as the "good guys" do.

UoUo is correct. Israel always offers to help with American-spearheaded actions, but the United States always insists that Israel does NOT do so, in order to pander to our Arab allies. As Golda Meir once said, "Let me something that we Israelis have agaisnt Moses. He took us forty years through the desert in order to brung us to the one spot in the Middle East that has no oil!"
As an American, the two countries I trust to stick with us, through anything, are Canada and Israel. Britain, Australia, etc are close follow-ups, but Canada and Israel are the ones I KNOW would still be with us through Hell and back.

Well Israel always has to be with the U.S. its where most of their money comes from and weapons as well.
WW3 i think is a war on terrorism, it has been going on for a while now. canada will always be with the states no matter what happens. even if we dont agree as much with some things like Iraq war, we will always be willing. We have never given up a fight. Just look at hockey. haha. and Canadians have proven themselves as some of the toughest fighters in the world time and time again since the Boar War.

The United States only started sending Israel significant amounts of arms under John F Kennedy, at the eve of the 1967 War. Israel survived both the 1948 War and the Suez War without any aid from the United States Federal Government.
As for the modern relationship, it's a two-way street. Militarily, we sell them rifles, Humvees, and Black Hawks; they sell us substantially improved Patriot missiles (those Israeli-refined Patriots protected Kuwait from Iraqi missile attacks during the last war). I've heard that they have also helped advise some of our special forces teams on urban combat and counter-terrorism.
As for civilian stuff, we sell them all sorts of junk, and they sell us cell phones and other electronics (Motorola started in Israel, I think), KISS (Gene Simmons was born Chaim Witz in Israel), various manufactured goods (I have some really nice LL Bean sheets that were made in Israel) and the best darned oranges on the planet.
Politically, they have been our "fall guy" a couple times when we really needed it (like when they took out Iraq's nuclear reactor in 1981--something we couldn't have done politically), and in exchange we prevented the Soviet Bloc and the Muslim bloc in the UN from voting them out of existence the numerous times they tried to.
Culturally, the two countries are very compatible. Our relations will always be strained with countries like Saudi Arabia, which are non-democratic and treat women like livestock. But the United States and Israel have similar levels of education, similar interest in pizza and dance clubs, and things like that.
I really see the American-Israeli relationship as beneficial to both sides.

Very well said, I spent some time with some Israeli guys last summer and they behaved just like all the teenagers, (Mostly Americans) that we were with. They fit right in, which is comforting because i'll know how to feel if I ever go to Israel. I see them as some of our closest friends, right next to the UK and Canada.

Poor vs. Rich if rich 2 poor will be like 50 to 1 they'll strike and crush us all and even nukes wouldn't help. because The power of nuclear wepons is greatly over estimated and also double-edged. Only numbers count.
my guess: South America, Africa, Asia contra North America, Europe, Japan.

I actually live in NYC. And i have to say that thats not entirely true. Both respective groups (jews and arabs) tend to live in their own communities and there is always something in the news about conflicts between them in the community. A little while ago i was reading how some hasidic *sp* jews in brooklyn who owned a deli, fired a worker because he was an arab, and it caused a big backlash by the arab community. Those things are very common here. Its not to say its any of their faults, its just saying that they still have alot to overcome before things can calm between them.
