MICH Helmet NVG Mounts (Replicas)

I have a Condor Tactical Gear MICH TC-2000 replica. I believe its made of fiberglass.

Anyways I was planning on mounting a either real or G&G (working) NVG mount. However, I know that I have to drill a hole through the front. I was just worried that the fiber glass would begin to flake and eventually crack while drilling.

Anyone know any info on this?

If you don't secure the bolt tight enough, it will egg out the holes.
