Not too bad...what kind of camera you got there?
I just took one pic at the airshow last week...B2 flew by the day before but I didnt see it, the runway was too narrow.

The C-130 will be in service as long as people and cargo needs to be taken somewhere on Earth.
Seiyuuki, what does "Water curtain cave on flower fruit mountain" mean?
Are you Scandinavian by any chance?
Nice pictures, USA320. It's not everyday you see the B2 at an airshow. Or at least it wsn't for me when I went to airshows. I like your idea of putting up pictures taken by yourself. Helps build an active online community.
Nice job, USA320.

I'm mostly Vietnamese by both side of the family, part Chinese and Japanese (father's side of the family) and Cambodian (mother's side of the family). Just try to imagine our family reunion...always a fun and interesting time.
Seiyuuki is another Japanese word for the "Monkey King," also known as Sun Wu Kong, Saiyuuki, Son Goku, etc...Water Curtain Cave on Flower Fruit Mountain: Water Curtain refer to a waterfall on Flower Fruit Mountain and there's a cave behind the waterfall, it is the domain of Seiyuuki (my avatar is Seiyuuki himself with his magic cudgel). The legend of the Monkey King is practically known by every kids in Asia, originate in China, though through time, most cultures have developed their own version of it or another. Read the classic Chinese folklore "Journey to the West" to learn more about this subject.

I wouldn't be surprised if the C-130 lives to see a century of service (it was first deployed in 1956). It'll definitely see 50-75 years of service, anyway.
The C-130 is one of those precious few aircraft that would make the short list of the greatest aircraft of all time. It is a true classic--timeless.
Incidentally, some other plane that would make the short list of greatest aircraft of all time:
P-51 Mustang
A-10 Thunderbolt II
F-4 Phantom
F-15 Eagle
C-47 (DC-3)
SR-71 Blackbird
F-14 Tomcat
B-52 Stratofortress
B-17 Flying Fortress
You'll note that there are none of the latest, high-tech, "whiz-bang" fighter aircraft on this list like the F-18 Hornet or F-22 Raptor--this is because those planes have not yet "paid their dues". They have to stand the test of time--they have to earn their stripes.
The C-130 Hercules meets the criteria...

Thanks for the information, Seiyuuki. I didn't know it was that "involved".
As for my name, it's a dumb story. Mr. Skorotsnoy, roughly translates from Russian as "Mr. Fast". I misspelled it, as it's supposed to be SkoroSTnoy. I came up with it because I run rather quickly, and because I like the Russian KV-1 tank. The KV-1S is the "skorostnoy" model.
I know you didn't ask, but others have.
I need a new screen name. Hmm, "Lameass15" might work...

hmm...B52s have pretty long lives. The DoD expects B52 varients to be flying till at least 2040 I think. ;)

I think its safe to assume the B-52 should also be on th
;) at list?
As for my camera, its a Kodak...cant recall which model off hand, i wanna say DC320 or something like that.
Indeed, the B-2 was perhaps one of the best parts of the show. There was also a couple of F-117's there.
IMHO though the best part of the show was the Blue Angels, and a C-130J fly-by. The C-130's werent originally supposed to be part of the show. They were on a low-level IFR training mission over southern New York, and they decided to fly over... There was a whole flight of 8 Hercs all together, an awesome sight... Have to see if i can find the pics... ive got a ton, i might upload some more later or tommorow. [/quote]
