Whatever you think about the candidates, who do you think runs a more effective campaign so far?
For a while, I thought John Kerry was doing a pretty good job of establishing himself as a credible candidate. On the other hand, Bush seemed to be in trouble, what with Iraq and the economy.
Amazingly, this all seemed to change over the past two weeks. Bush seemed to be experiencing a resurgence while Kerry started to flounder.
What's up? Was it because of the ad by the Swiftees? But doesn't that show that Kerry's campaign is so weak that a single ad like this is enough to rock his credibility?
On the other hand, Bush had been exposed to a more sustained campaign of mud slinging over the past few months, starting with the F9/11 movie. Yet, he somehow managed to stretched his lead over Kerry through the convention. "Bounce" or not, this seems to indicate that his campaign office got at least some things right.
What this means is that Bush has managed to score more points so far compared to Kerry, and Kerry would need to buck up if he really wants to move house come next year.
