I can probably have a slightly higher res one in a few days when another photo site updates their stuff. One from that iraqdaily.com site would be optimal though.

I think its a Mi-24 Hind, as for being Afghani I would assume so

Yes its Afghani, or more specifically its a Northern Alliance Mi-35 (downgraded export version of Mi-24). Prior to the fall of the Taliban they had two in service although they've probably captured a few more since.

you can't be an american and drive the dirty car..you'll lose stature in the eyes of the locals..hey there is an image to maintain.
