If i remember correctly, the guys of Deep Dish are from DC or rather, really started the DC scene up.

Tiesto is one of my favorite. Although DJ Mystik, Darude and van Dyk have lots of great stuff too. Robert Miles and George Acosta are kickin too.

DD had a release called Deep Dish Toronto, it was released of Global Underground woot It was pretty good.

Speaking of GU, Go buy SASHA- INVOLVER best CD of the year IMO

There is a trance following in the US, but it isnt nearly as large as the one in europe. It is starting to catch on, ive been sending posting and giving away promo's all over my city, i get emails asking "what kind of music is this?" and such. I think overall its just picking up. Its HUGE in FL from what i hear. But i fear that cRAP music will always dominate over electronica. :|
