Well, I can safely say we all know the OICW that will go into production will look very much different from those pictures.

yes they are old versions ofcourse...and yeah looks huge ! :o
just remember these are all test versions. the armys' specs say the real one cannot weigh more then 12 pounds, and they have some bulk limits too. the real deal will be more compact.

Yea those r really old...the newer version is much smaller
i've seen the new ones too. still think it could be the most hideous weapon ever devised by American engineers though...
there is no actual production version yet, just some vague ideas of what the finished product MIGHT look like. going to be another year or 3

what are all those buttons for on the 2nd pic?The primary function: the * button turns on laser rangefinder, and + and - buttons are used to change this range value (increase/decrease). Also this buttons are used to program (one of four modes) OICW grenades.
