Yep, that's them. Things have changed though- old days the crew used to only pull SFODA/CAG/DEVGRU/SEALs. How times have changed.

Check out the 703 area code, too. This just confirms that GREY FOX elements are still working out of Arlington and haven't relocated to Ft. Bragg.

Which is really surprising for me as a knowledgable source (10th Group) told me otherwise. Perhaps they forward deploy out of Bragg on CAG/JSOC jobs? It's also intriguing because they stopped reporting through DIA INSCOM Arlington at least ten years ago.

Hi EliteWolf

Nope, it's current cover name for a unit originally known as the Intelligence Support Activity ("the Activity" or "ISA"). Formed from the short lived Foreign Operating Group (FOG) who carried out ground truth reconnaissance ahead of the 1980 attempted hostage retrieval from Iran.

ISA are tasked to carry out recon and surveillance duties in support of other JSOC assets namely CAG, DEVGRU and 'others'. Also formerly known as Cemetery Wind, Centra Spike, Torn Victor, Capacity Gear, Route Six, Robin Court etc etc etc, they alter their cover names every six months.

Operating under JSOC currently as the Tactical Support Team for administrative purposes.

That's the Reader's Digest version. There is material on the web- check out http://www.specwarnet.net/americas/isa.htm

Everything I've just written is open source and publicly available and does not endanger US OPSEC.
