Has anyone heard that Russia may send soldiers to Iraq.I heard little information about this topic from Fox News.So can anybody help me about this. Thanks
to free the oppressed.
Yeah, I saw a news conference with Putin speaking about the recent submarine sinking. At the tail end of that, he said that there was a high possibility of sending Russian soldiers but only as part of a UN peacekeeping force. He also said that he didn't mind if that UN force was US controlled which of course is a significant development.

Ha, the Russians already sent soldiers. The US sent them packing back home just a few days before Baghdad fell.
Sending more Russians for peacekeeping is admirable yes but it also seems pretty weird seeing they tried to assist Saddam in his defense strategy right up to the last day or so.
Yeah well, when they were at the big rave at Saddam's palace #39984, they left a bunch of night vision equipment and GPS jammers. It's rude to leave your stuff all over the place. :) Personally I just think it would be the highest possible slap in the face for whatever Al Qaeda forces might be in the country to have Russian soldiers walking nearby again.

Polish soldiers are there keeping peace and what not, saw it on CNN headline news. They got that spiffy desert camo and AK's
