why are guys here open topics about hating other peoples without any meaning? what does hat hate mean for you 14 years old boys? and moreover, why do you talk about such stuff? most of you guys don't know the germans or the french, you probably never talked to one, never met one, never been to that country. and you surely never tried to undertsand the way of living in that countries. and where is that "hating" of another country coming from and how far would you go with that stupid thoughts? germans and frenchs did nothing to you, so why? ignorance should never be mixed with hate, but you guys do. better respect people and think about what you are saying. talking about hate does not help anybody, especially not your own country. hate leads to nothing, maybe only to violence and pain.

i HATE when people take things to literaly. maybe its a cultural difference. or maybe you were PERSONALLY offended. hate is simply a way of saying you dislike something. i hate the geo metro, i hate smelly cars, i hate tomatoes, i hate it when my car breaks down, i hate it when the home team doesnt make the playoffs. not many people use "dislike" anymore. its a older word that was replaced with something faster and sounds smoother in a sentance.

varied degrees of hate are somewhat translated through facial and tone expressions. so if somebody says it and they look pissed off and they sound pisised off then they are looking to cause harm. alot of this gets lost over the internet and even further when you consider different cultures have the same "insiders perspective" to thier languages thus there are many and any ways for things to be misenterpreted.

so when someone says the french suck, i hate the french, or i hate france, the odds of them truly hating france in any real vehement way are slim to none. and further they are simply lumping france in as a whole just like everyone does in real life. i could say i hate it when my brakes give out, or when my transmission goes, or when the battery dies, instead people lump that into the category of, i hate it when my CAR breaks down. so please dont be to offended by topics with the word hate. if you changed france with the word tomato then would you take it as serious? no.

and here you are saying anyone who posts thihs rabble is 14 yet you dont understand that countries have poked fun at eachother for thousands of years especially when relations escalate between them? thats just queer. maybe its that cultural difference.

Wouldn't that be Ales (http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/style/)??

Obviously they forget the Augustiner Maximator and other Doppelbock Beers!

Check the list (http://www.beeradvocate.com/top_beers.php) for your favorite..

Yeah, right - drink them real cold because they don't taste like anything. There are exceptions, nonetheless....

Gordon Biersch and Sierra Nevada are a couple of them.

I hope you are not talking about Budweiser or Schlitz, hahaha

I thought Bass was an Ale? Don't forget about the Kiwis; Steinlager is one of my favorites and whops most Canuck beers...

The Best part of Beers, or Ales, I's that you have the WORLD to sample from, unless you are stuck in ethnocentric ways!

When I think of Canadian beer I think of Elsinore 'eh

As a dane I can proudly say: Carlsbarg is proberly the worst beer in the world(and in Denmark too). I drink anything imported and especially belegian and finnish beer.

Shiner Bock is a good beer (born and brewed in Texas!). I like Sierra Nevada, Pilsner Urqell, and Fat Tire as well. (and many more)

Of course being in college I must pay homage to Nasty Light and Milwaukee Beast $60 per keg...yum

Maredsous makes me vomit, even if I only have one it makes me sick...only beer i've ever had that does that. Took me two times before I figured it out....bastards

Ale? Guiness and Kilckenny...? Very special taste. Too much.
the best is too find a middle between too strong and too light (I don't mean the degree of alcohol).

For me the best beer is the Faro.

I tried Budweiser, and I think it's like our Kronenbour or Kanterbrau : Water with bubles and alcohol.

I want to try American beer more expressive than the Budweiser (really American Bud?)

Funny how this changed from a "hate" to a "beer"-thread rofl

Btw: my favourites are Beck's and Erdinger Hefeweizen. I like US beer too. But like someone mentioned in a post before, you can only drink it ice-cold. Then you can sip it like water... Bud-Ice ice-cold? Mmhh

I believe it's called Cellar Temperature so you can have a cool beer and actually enjoy it's flavor.

I think it's great that we went from 'hate' to something we can all relate with, Beer!

Anybody try the real Budweiser, the Czech Budwar? Yum.

You're taking this stuff WAAAAY too seriously. Ever seen how Bostonians and New Yorkers fight about which city is better? Notice how Coloradans and Nebraskans hate each other's state more than Hell itself? This isn't real hate, dude. It's just harmless ribbing and teasing.

Anyway, do you REALLY believe that Europeans never make fun of Americans? I've known plenty of Europeans, and dissing Americans rivals soccer as the main recreation for most of them. It's a two-way street here, and that's just fine. Why don't you worry about all us poor Americans who are being called fat, illiterate neanderthals by Swedes and Italians? Why not? Cause making fun of each other's country never hurt anybody!!!

I had a look at the top 50 beers (twice) and I've never tasted any of those listed :cantbeli: !

Any Mexicans in this forum? Is it true that they HATE Corona just as much as we HATE Fosters?

Note: the best Aussie beers are the ones made in Tasmania ;) (try Cascade or James Boag)

Beer - who hates beer ? That and *** have got to be two things everyone has in common. I like lots - lemme see....
Theakstons old Peculiar - couple of pints of that and you are ready to look at the world in a new light. Has to be drunk at room temperature, as most British beer - Newcastle Brown being an exception. I've met a few Kiwis and Aussies who have been converted to warm beer - I know, suprised me as well. - only while they are up this side of the world though.
The Scots do a heather beer which is really quite refreshing - good for a hot day.
Guinness -just has to be drunk in Ireland, preferably after a days fishing.
Canterbury draught - Kiwi beer nice but bettered by a black Mac ,also Kiwi
Contenental beers - hard to find a bad beer on the continent, they go out of business pretty quick.
American beer - like Petes wicked ales
Aussie - had the usual VB - not bad , but I'm sure that Aussies can put me right - talking of which, I'm over in Adelaide shortly, so if a native can point me in the right direction of a good pub + beer, I'd be obliged.
yep, I'm willing to go any mans country and drink their beer, talk to their women and enjoy their food - just a tart I guess.

Beer are for people who like to pee.
I myself don't like beer. I prefer Wiskhy, Cognac and Armagnac. And if I want to be in Coyote-mode I grab for the Arak, an Arabic-liquor.

Belgian, Finnish and Swedish beers are the best. The worst beers come from Aussie, NZ, England and the States... Victoria Bitter is nice though, it's an Aussie beer. But most of the beers down here are like going fishing; ****ing close to water. :(

'Tis a brave man who knocks the beers from AUS, NZ and the US ( not to mention the UK ) as being the worst. Its what your used to or want to have a go at. Admittedly, some dont travel well and trying to brew them away from the source is not a good move. I've had Guinness in NZ that a most hardy Irish friend pulled a face at when he tasted it. Fosters in the UK is nothing like Fosters in Australia. I've had Bass served ice cold in Perth, which ruined it completely. But hey, the local beers like Macs special in NZ and many others elsewhere are a great drink. Maybe we should have a beer challenge and drink to the last man standing.....

I'll drink to that, oldsoak!

The taste of a fresh seasonal Weizenbier like the ones in Bavaria is a pleasure all should experience.

And Smintjes, you'll be pleased to know that I drink Stella Artois at the local beach-pub, on tap since the spring. A fine brew!

Uns, Zwo... Gesuffa!
