Take this as a legitimate question. I dindt know the basic parts of a rifle until I did a science report on it.. But check this out its pretty sweet:

he said basic parts of the assault rifle, not how it worked. how the hell could you not know the BASIC parts of a gun? not like assault rifles are some crazy exotic piece of hardware that's completely different than other rifles. we're not you're own personal search engine.

one problem: there is no piston in an m16, and ak- series yes but and ar-15/m16/m4 no.

what ever you do, don't forget the bolt cam.
