Thanks JiJo for the info !
I have read Moores "The Green Berets". Simply Great. I also highly recommend it. (It is better then the Wayne film. Nothing against the Duke, but it looks too much like propaganda. The book is more "down to earth". Ugly things are not omitted!)
Now I must be off to amazon.com ! p-)

After reading the above posts I went out and bought this book, I'm about 1/4 way through it and I can't stop reading it. I especially like that part about the guys from 5th SFG in the pizza parlor and their response when they found out abou the WTC and what their role would be. So thank you guys for talking about this book it really is an interesting book to read.

Bought it today and was VERY excited until I opened it. As soon as I looked at the pictures I saw Idema and sure enough he is in the index. A book about SF and it features a convicted felon. pitiful...

So I take it you are good buddies with Keith? You know all about him? You know why he REALLY went to prison? And not the BS he tells people. He was put on trial for wire fraud, not refusing to give up his "sources".

Ditto on "can't stop reading it" I read it over a weekend last month. Couldn't get enough of it. I appreciate the truth and knowing exactly how these men felt and what they went through. Can't remember the lady's name.. believe it was Alison or something... they called her "angel of death" KUDOS, I loved the part where she would tell the taliban pukes it was payback time. woot

Take the whole book with a grain of salt. There were too many innacuracies for me.
