how does the us military work

regarding the U.S military how does it work with organization with companies , divsions,platoons etc...... how do they work out all that stuff

First we form a small circle. We have a sensing session to make sure no one is offended. We then vote on how we want to be organized. We make sure that every photo, group, or document, contains a poor white kid from Nebraska, an inner-city black, a rough looking white female with airborne wings, the ubiquitous black female E-6 Section SGT, and a Latino thrown in for good measure.

Haha, very funny. Lets get serious. 3 to 4 platoons make up a company. 3 to 4 companies make up a batallion. 2 to 4 batallions make up a regiment.
And that's just about as much I know
