The M16's still crap weapons, and those are the 2 worst versions of them all.

M16 only fires Single, and burst?
eh??
the original M16's were fully automatic...
THe M16's today can only be set to 3 round burst and single but are still capable to be set to fully automatic like the C7's.
We already had a whole thread about this..

Supressed M16? Very nice. And what is the guy on the top right holding? Looks like some kind of folded SMG.

Carl Gustav M/45 9mm SMG, popular in Vietnam with SF.

For the M-16 I would have said that it's the M-16A1 Mk4 with the Mk2 supressor but it looks slightly different(the supressor) . The SMG must be either a Carl Gustav Model 45(swedish K) or a Smith & Wesson Model 76

Serious jamming problems with A1

Because of low quality ammo.
M-16A1 Mk4 with the Mk2 supressor
M16A1 Mk 4? Mk 2 suppressor? I'm just curious as to where you're getting these designations, because I've never seen them before (doesn't mean they're wrong).

It's from a book about the SEALs in Vietnam(in greek) It says that the M-16A1 Mk4 was a specially modyfied M-16 for use in water enviroment. Among others it had anti-rust protection for the moving parts with Kal Gard, a drainage hole in the recoil-spring tube, and the Mk2 Mod0 suppressor. It also mentions some other modyfications like an M-16A1 with an M4 suppressor made by HEL(human engineering labaratory) that could only cycle if the suppressor was attached. If it wasn't you'd had to **** it for every shot. It's an interesting book

Interesting. I had heard about HEL's M4 suppressor (its not a suppressor for the M4 carbine, it was designated the M4), which required a special receiver unit. I didn't know the Navy made any special M16s for the SEALs (which would, it appears, have been designated Mk 4 Mod 0). Do you know if the Navy's Mk 2 Mod 0 suppressor was just their designation for the Sionics unit used by the Army (MAW-A1), or another suppressor all together?
