I never intended to post the pic as what i want and dont need (I have it moore than enough) . I posted the pic for people who want to modifie thier airsoft rifles, maybe to look like the Swedish modified AK4B(or just think it's a cool picture.. ;) ). If you look at page 171 you will find yet a nother RS pic, and if you will continue thru out the whole "thread" you can find many moore RS shots.

Why do you cover up your face? Is airsoft illegal in your country or are you doing something illegal?

Something I don't like is that some airsofters are posting there picture with there face covered. It's like airsoft is something illegal but it's not.

Public airsofting is illegal is many countries and carrying a AEG in public places too. That is why skirms are done on private property where it is not problem and 100% legal.
And because most people don't understand what this sport is about, all airsofters should do their best to give it at least a positive image.
That is why airsofters like Black Dog, myself and many others try to convince fellow sportmen not to show airsoft photos with edited faces.
This case with Swed's photo was confusing, because he was not showing airsoft but real steel and has damm good reasons not to show his face. ;)
I only commented that it is therefor in wrong post, but that seems not to be appreciated by some.

The green one is my WolfHook sling, the "white" one is actually 4 rubber bands I use so the weapon stays in place while I'm patroling if I need to take my trigger hand away, and the red one is my team colour....

Did they ever give you a real boonie? The one in your avatar looks like one of those Anderson hats. Anyway, it's all good. I'm going for a desert loadout after this...then a black outfit. Who knows...I might win the lotto and end up building a woodland loadout. WGC has this cool looking G&P Marine Vest I really like the looks of. Built in mag pockets to boot! I have no idea if this resembles anything "real".

DM - I'm happy to hear that...really. I know it's a "rogue project" and nothing as exotic as the true reenactment gear you and others like cmdrfire have assembled. That is very nice kit! Mine is cheap repro...although I must say the patterns work well together. It's tough stuff too! I tried to punch a hole through the top of my radio pouch for the antenna. That was very difficult to do! I'd have an easier time punching a hole in a tire...not that I ever did that or anything :lol:

BTW - The boots are feeling a little better on my feet. Must be a break in thing. Very light and quiet on hard surfaces. I e-mailed the guy and tried to work it out. He kept getting defensive so it was a moot point. I'll just enjoy the $30 boots. Hope to get some pics of them when the sun returns.

Yup, the real ones have the CADPAT foliage loops an cat eyes on the back(only most of us flip them around so they can't be seen) an a NSN.

Just so you know, here is the TT pouch I was talking about.



Pretty much the same design as the DBT pouch. I just wanted to say the the DBT pouch was so tight that I couldn't even get a TM standard all the way into it.

I'm going to have to agree with Nextmayor, and many others feel the same about BL mag pouches.

Inside that pouch there is a texturized, rubber coating, similar to the bottom of shoes designed to be non-slip. There is also a large flat magnet sewn into the wall. The biggest issue is the rubber material though, it makes them so tight, that I have acctually pulled mag-puls off the mag before it would extract. And getting the mag back in is even worse.

The Tactical Tailor pouch NM pictured is what DBT coppied when they made their battlelab pouch, with the addition of the rubber and magnet. The TT pouch is much better because there is not liner, the only retention is the shock cord on top, which is adjustable for tightness if you feel you need it.

EDITED to add:

For good cheap nametapes, www.1800nametape.com is the best IMO, they have all types, even ACU tapes ;)

IMHO, the Battle lab pouches are downright rediculous with that rubber coating... I love the Tac Tailor ones (own 8 of them) and even Blackhawk started to sell that design if you prefer the Natick Snap attachment over the TT MALICE clip.

well, technically, they are single mag pouches, the retention is also good so you hold the mags a lot easier to stay in, i plan on keeping the flaps inside anyways so im more high speed. Also, i hate BHI for a lot of their things. Im pretty sure Im gonna buy the Battlelab GP pouch and hydration pouch since I hate BHI...they seem to....over merchandized....their gear doesnt look as well made.....looks to generic

C'mon wrap it in some camo tape, paint it or something. At on time you seem to aim at camouflage completness/effectivness and you ruin it with such details.

You might like adding some 550 on your zip fly's to ease opening.

Heh, I prolly will get some OD tape for it. Honestly, though, I don't even really need it. I can tuck that hydration tube underneath those khaki straps.

Thats one option, but take my word its better to have at least one snap on your gear, even in airsoft. Often comes in handy.
