Nope, no suspenders. Should have mentioned that I wear an Eagle duty belt that I use to attach my holster and subload.

I really like the belt. It's very sturdy and doesn't dig into my skin at all. Can't really compare/contrast it to a rigger's belt as I've never tried one. And, yes, I wear it over the BDU loops and it stays right where I put it :D

Well, if you're just interested in the pattern www.skdtac.com has multicam BDU's.

They're not the same as the crye field pants and shirt but they're nice enough.

If i was personally going to spend that much money on BDU's id wait and spend a little extra in order to get the official crye bdu's.

now I switched back to the small, for the free movement around the waist, and to wear it with the belt I made, if desired.

I'm as much into airsoft as I am real steel (I work in a gunshop) even so I cant afford the guns they let me shoot..;) I settle for airsoft at home...

Have a Marine buddy in Germany who occasionally sends me stuff. I asked him for two LWHs (one for my sis, one for me), and he sent one MSA Galletthelmet and one Gentex. I queried him about it (mostly out of curiousity) and he said that whenever they lost/broke their Gentex they were reissued an MSA Gallet (since it's identical to the LWH except a few minor differences in suspension).
K.Johnston - I'd been running around all day when that pic was taken :-P you can't really see dirt in the bad light but check out my boots and knee pads...
as for the stuff on the rail... well, yeah, I clean it whenever I get done from airsofting :-p my mother wouldn't let me bring it into the house if it was still all grubby!
Name Taken (and tenda) - I'll see if I can get some pics of it (it's at my actual home and I'm at my university home right now). I don't usually use it, but my youngest brother (who is twelve and into airsoft woot ) has taken a liking to it. It's kinda cute seeing him run around in DPMs with the M4 (that's why I ended up getting one... it's the only gun he can lift, he can barely pick up my SPR never mind run around with it! It's almost as tall as he is...)

Which LWH? MSA Gallet or Gentex? And 'fraid I can't get you any pics soon, I'm at university and don't have my helmets with me...
They appear to be identical, mildly different suspension, the Gentex has a little pad that goes on the back of the neck for support and has a spiffy EGA imprinted onto attach point for the chin strap on the suspension.
The MSA Gallet sits a little higher on the head, and the Gentex a little lower, so I wear the Gallet and my sister gets the Gentex. The kevlar shells are identical.

I'm right on with the ninja rolls (off small cliffs... ouch... :cantbeli: ) and swan dives (right into occupied bunkers... :cantbeli: ), and yes, my gear gets grubby, but fortunately I have two modern inventions:
1. A brush, with which to clean my IBA/Ballistic Nylon Fragmentation Vest (Protective)
2. A washing machine, with which to clean my MARPAT/Utilities
p-)
Oh, and I got some stuff to clean my jungle boots and bellevilles... they were both looking a little worse for the wear. Now they're all spiffy again, 'least until I go airsofting again...

MI2_MAA, I bought them for around US$150 apiece at the time... I believe at the current exchange rate it's closer to US$170.

I will say this: the LWH is infinitely more comfortable than my M1. I realised this to my horror about three weeks ago when I said to myself "I haven't worn my VN gear in awhile, let's go with it" and I proceeded to wear what amounted to a small, uncomfortable, heavy oven on my head.

I'm still relatively new to the Airsoft world, I've bought several Spring weapons that have been working well for me. Unfortunatly there really isn't anyone in the area that I live who owns any Airsoft weaponry, so I've taken it upon myself to buy several low level weapons and try to get people interested by letting them borrow my own weapons to use in the local woods.

Not sure where he got it from, I think he mentioned building it from a kit though I'm not sure. I'll ask him next time I see him.
He's actually part of 4 Para... I'm thinking of joining the TA myself and I've got two choices, I can either sign up with a Para infantry group like him down in Surrey or in Canterbury (where I'm at for uni) I can go with a Mech Infantry company... I'll probably do it in Canterbury as it'll fit in with my university schedule. Still haven't made the decision though.

I am very impressed with the replica. the quality is almost like the real one. if it was not for the slight color difference you wouldnt be able to tell the difference. the quick release works the same way. All the stitches were copied.

I havent seen the Proud replica so i cant comment on that.

ACU is working great. I really like it, its very comfy durable. Plus, for the time beign, Im one of the few at the field wearing it :) It actually works really well in wooded areas (especially if they are rocky/urban) Even playing in open woods, I can stay decently concealed wearing the ACU's. (better than the guys wearing woodland)
