3 tone, with the khaki vest!

What oakleys are those? the Heaters? or Sweep... im thinking of getting sweep lenses in either orange or clear for airsoft... do the lenses cover your eyes enough to protect them?

I think that Khaki Vest is more of a Coyote Brown. But it's to light in the picture to tell. Also those Oakley's are awesome. And that M4 tenda is awesome

Damnit, I had arranged all my tuff so nicely in this huge pictorama or whaterver, and the bloody lightning in my room ruined it all... I live in a cellar and it's dark outside... damn swedish winter. Anyway, thought of making a list of my gear...

Weapon: Tokyo Marui AK47 ca. 100m/s, modified original furniture (painted with warhammer colours, polished, painted, scratched and so on... it looks good and people tend to think it's real wood which is funny :P)

Clothes: Includes a couple of "kits" and a bunch of bits and pieces.

KIT ONE: Swedish 70's-80's.

M59 pants in some sort of humungous size making them really comfy, if not a bit clumsy at times.
M59 Field shirts (4)
M59 Pullover
M59 "vapenrock" field jacket, ugly as hell but I got two anyways.
M59 "vindrock" overcoat with removable lining. Great for guarding and walking around when it's windy and/or cold, but not made for running.
M59 field cap.
M59 scarf
M59 harness with two magpouches and a buttback (the suckiest piece of field gear ever made I think)
M59 wellington (rubber) boots.
The latest version of the swe steal pot and the old créme colored snowsuit.

In the swedish folder I've also got a couple of field boots from -41, an ammobelt for the mauser, a "grötrock" jacket used when cleaning your equipment and such, a couple of old ass undershirts, mittens, gloves and soem socks, belt for trousers, unidentified set of longjohns and nightshirt (?), a long dress coat, an officers jacket, a backback, a shovel, a bunch of old canteens (30s-50s) and three different models of gasmask pouches.

KIT TWO: British.

Modern:

Soldier 95 ripstop parka
Soldier 95 field trousers.
BA cover in tropical DPM

until recently: tropical BDU (shirt and trousers) and a MK6 Helmet.

WW2:

Tommy (?) type steel helmet.

KIT THREE: Modern German.

Flecktarn field shirt
Flecktarn filed trousers
German green beret (never used that one actually)
OD colored poncho
Modified pouch for "putzezeug" (?)
German Military towel :P

KIT FOUR: Soviet/Russian

Modern:

Gorod wind- and waterproof suit. Jacket and pants.
Matching patrol cap for winter.
Maska Setka in woodland
Maska in russian Tigerstripe
AK Magazine pouch in woodland

Old school:

Afganka field cap.
Afghan era AK47/74 mag puch. (came today :D)
Afghan era AK Chestrig. (came today :D)
The classical soviet backback, this one from -62.
Soviet army canteen and rubberized belt.
Soviet/Russian army Ushanka, fake fur hat.
Soviet steel pot, M62(?)

Ordered, payed for and sent (they said) Afghanka Winter Suit i khaki with removable liner.

MISC:

Dutch field shirt
Dutch cold climate mittens
Norwegian training suit from the Air Defence (luftforsvaret)
American snow jacket. It is yellow of age.
Home-made ghillie suit parts, covering torso and headwear.

aaand some other stuff... =P

BTW. www.frontofrussia.com is a really good site if you're interested in soviet and czar russian militaria from the end of the 19th century up until the 90's. They also have som other stuff from, germany and such. great service, good prices and nice and a bit rare selection. I just had to reccomend it :)

Sobre el Woodland, esta el nuevo modelo en tejido Rip-Stop, pero el desertico es normal.

About W/L i can see the lastest Rip-Stop BDU's, but in Desert Camo, it's the normal cotton type.

That depends on which item is more washed or used, doesn't make any difference between Dutch DPM en Uk DPM except for the dots.

my fault of those my ****ing posted ,but i edit from here , anyway if I have to go to a new war , I gonna fight with the XM-8 and ICBR but I guess is this meaning of it ( ICBA who's mean right way to that meaning ?)please tell me what is this meaning of ICBA i think Inter ceptor body armor but I guess the meaned name who the type very plenty so I can not understand what does they have a type kindly , i think the body armor type has the kindly which they has a USMC version , Special forces who they has accept'd type body armor ,and civilian model , a lot of type which the goverment through civilian firm is use and accept with man's wearing of it , but i guess very amazed against the body armor type has a very deference model does they have , it is a SPEAR body armor because of the bodyArmor's manufacturing from defer than the typically body armor producing maker , so the spear body armor is very useful and confertable when the dependaple force's accept the body armor , however my guessing why does they using of it I know because of I have that body armor ,so I know what is the guys use and why does they doing in their a true of war's going in.

I know they make an adapter to connect mini batteries to large connecters, but is there a way to connect large batteries to mini connectors?

Carbine
12-27-2005, 05:37 AM
Sepper, sure there is. Just use a different polarity connector on either end of the mini => large adapter. You can buy the connectors at most hobby shops. They're commonly known as Tamiya connectors and are used in RC cars. They're usually sold in pairs with the male and female end coming in one pack for about 2-4USD. Then you can make your own adapter.

Carbine,
The IBA is one made by Just-tech (called JUST most of the time) and is complete. It has the groin, neck and pelvis protections while GUARDER hasn't. It's twice as much but it's worth it. I bought SDS pouches from some online site in USA and now it's complete and looks exactly like the US dotation one. I can post more pics of u want for the IBA only.
And for cheap you've got a winter+summer loadout.

same for the PASGT, it's a copy from JUST. The covers attach just like the real thing. It's not easy to find real PASGT in France. I think law forbids the balistic protection. Sellers won't send it over here. So, this copy is a cheap and realistic solution. Weren't you the one looking for a PASGT on IC?

- white t shirt is what I will not wear during battles. I use OD t shirt except for the desert outfit because I don't have a TAN t shirt
- i cant touch leaher to leather, my ankle would break. That is the tigher i can get out of my Welco jungle boots. Maybe you can get more with Altama or copies?
- it's not dirty because it's OUT OF THE BOX :D from the helmet cover to the pants. Not battle tested yet at that time. You won't even see the patches on the WL outfit, I recently put them on. Don't worry, I NEVER WASH MY BDUs (some would say "too dirty" sometimes) look at the jungle boots how dirty they are. I use them with the vietnam loadout.

Just saying- keeping boots as tight as you can stand prevents from ankle twists and sprains and eventually will cut down on the amount of blisters on your feet. Just seems to me that most of my boots always had laces with no more than an inch or so on both sides, they just look loose to me. But hell, not my feet, so- Good gear though. i dont agree that the tighter the boot the less blisters you will get, the laces mostly dont have an effect on the size of the footbed so rubbing still happens, and id rather have comfortable boots that arent cutting off my blood circulation to my feet than super tight ones that stop me getting an ankle injury (which normal high leg boots (not sythenic uppers) will do even if they arent fully tightened)

Well then keep them as loose as you want and ruck up and down heavy terrain... The highest point in the British Isles is only 4,409 feet, so I can understand where you might not get the point of keeping boots tight to prevent normal shifting in the shoe when traversing mountains with an 80lb ruck. Doesn't matter the material of the boot, if they're sloppy and loose, they'll still roll. I didn't suggest anyone cutting circulation off, but if you want to take an extreme, then go for it.

i m kinda curious whether it's convenient to draw the mags from this kind of ak chest rig.I've seen sfs using it in afghanistan.

i m kinda curious whether it's convenient to draw the mags from this kind of ak chest rig.I've seen sfs using it in afghanistan.

it would be difficult to pull out M15 mags out of that "chicom" vest. Even with the 400 rnd HICAP, its shorter than the 600rnd AK mag - the M15 mag would just sink to the botom of the pouch. If you really like the SF look and want to have that HSLD look/loadout, go witht he Spec-Ops MOUT rig.

http://www.specopsbrand.com/assets/product_images/Moutchestrig_body.jpg

+1 on getting rid of the helmet, baseball cap would be best.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I based my loadout off of my cousin who is in Afghanistan right now with SF. He says that when they do light recon, sometimes they wear second chance armor under their clothes and if they are entering cave complex's, they always have their helmets. As for my AK rig, I can actually put two m4 mags in each pouch and pull the mags out with no problem at all. There is material sewn into the bottom of each pouch that raises the mags to be within easy reach.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

im not military, never have been, but yeah the reason many see that chicom vest is becuase its more indiginous, some stuff Ive heard though is restitching the mag pouch to better accomodate the stanag mag. You might want to leave a few open to also allow for the AK mags since they use those guns as frequently if not more than AR style weapons.

Another option is to also go with a chest rig similar to the chicom rig, since they wear whatever the hell they can find, its not as much a bother if you have something that looks relatively the same way dont forget, indigiounous personnel generally have bad eyesight by the time they are 35 due to the lower pressure in the air, and they dont have glasses readily available to them. DBT has a good chest rig if your interested and then theres the SOtech hellcat to use for MOLLE and customization. If you want to go cheaper than the hellcat, the TT MAV also works, but lacks the integrated mag pouches that the Hellcat offers. Just a few friendly suggestions. dont forget, DBT only ships in US if your not in the US.

http://www.diamondbacktactical.com/BattleLab-Low-Vis-Rack-LV1-Plain-P797C90.aspx thats the DBT rig

and on the helmets part, they wear the helmets on raids nd mabye not even then, but daily ops usually has em wearing ballcaps. After theyve been in country for a few weeks, they ditch helmets to get around on hats, the helmets are too easily recognizable from farther out, they make good targets out of a crowd as well. Thats what Ive been told by several SF personnel in country as well as guys that just returned...but if your SF cousins team is doing so, who am I to retort?

ps. Where did you get those kneepads?????

I got the knee pads at my local Mil Surplus store, they were selling them in Black, OD, tan, and Woodland. I have Army issue OD knee pads though for when I have to do my job.

They were 12 bucks for the knee pads, same price for the woodland elbow pads as well.

Plain stuff. Good for alot of junk. The less crap you have, the quieter you can move through thick foliage. Less weight, which is good for drifting. ;) I don't like the Strider knife, useless tanto and it's a 1/4 inch thick. I have pierced the roof of a few cars with it, but have yet to get it sharp enough to cut 550 cord in less than 5 minutes.

I still respect the soldiers in iraq and wherever they are, it's not their fault the war is going on. Even less so ours.

you are entitled to your opinion, mine is that I'd rather have trained proffessionals over there like myself and my unit than have the terrorists over here killing, raping, and muttilating my family and friends, the terrorist only live to kill americans and anyone else who doesn't agree with them, they don't care where, so if we are over there, they will attack us over there, and those of us who go over there are trained to deal with it. 8. Don't insult the airsofters or video game players in their forum section. A separate section was setup specifically for hobbyists to separate the real from the non-real military people and events to alleviate such problems.

I believe it's for a purpose called...hmmmmmmmm..collecting,yes,maybe? Before you attack people on their forums doing stuff that is their hobby and they like to do, you should remove yourself of your ignorance, it is very possible and a reality to be killed from an airsoft BB, maybe not in the chest/leg/arm but in your mouth/temple/eye area, it's possible. A lot of people here like to collect real stuff, you know, someone may want to be in the military but can't, maybe those who are diabetic, athsmatic (sp?), or have other conditions which hold them back from serving. Airsoft is mostly inpart for the mature people, it's a good way to relax and relax and get excersise as well (For some of us anyway, campers!) And not all of these guys live in the U.S., look at most of their locations, you see them with a kevlar PASGT and an IBA with some MARPAT and they live in finland for example, you tell 'em to man up and join the military, they can't. The military/police is closely related to airsoft, it is used for training for numerous departments, it's as real as you can get without the brass, lead and blood, it requires alot of thinking, and knowledge. I'm sure you'd be blown away to find some people here that know more about your own army than you do, wouldn't that be embarassing? Your lack of respect for others' ideas is disturbing and makes it hard to believe you're even a soldier, you're suppose to be serving your country, not arguing with them. You are alot different from other soldiers I know, you seem more like the high school dropout that either had the choice of Macdonalds or being a Grunt. If that offends you, sorry, but what you've said sure as hell offended some guys here, everyone has different circumstances so who are you to judge what they do with their money? We're paying your salary, after all.

I respect your curiosity on airsoft, and I respect your claim of being a U.S. soldier since I have many friends in the military, and I would be happy to explain everything to you, but the way you presented yourself was completely wrong.

Dude, chill, I retract my rude statements, my question was legitimate, but the way I presented it was wrong, I'd like to think I am a big enough man to admit my errors, I was drunk last night, and I've met to many wannabe's who think they know everything and think that just cause I'm a grunt I don't know ****, So I apologize for taking it out on you guys.

Here is my CQB loadout.
http://24.203.198.236:8080/FOX_swatSG1.JPG

- Real PASGT helmet
- Real Level IIIA bullet proof vest
- Custom BDU
- G36 compatible vest (Seal Action gear)
- Duty belt full of stuff like handcufs, gloves, colapsible baton, spare mags...
- Black gloves ( BHI crap)
- Magnum CQB boots (crap, but does the job for short sorties)

WEAPONS

G36c with laser and taclight (G36c sold)
M9 with light

G36 will is now replaced by a P90tr to go along our team needs. The vest will be replaced soon for a custom made vest that look like a CIRCA but with some heavy mods.

Notice the SG1 patchs, since our team patchs where not done yet.

That's it, that's our team CQB loadout. I'll post more when we have our stuff ready.
