TENDA, how many mags do you usually carry?
Now, how many do you deplete ON AVERAGE?
Considering you play far more often than I, I'll trust your opinions. I only have nine magazines, one is a 110rd, three are 130rds, and the rest are TM 68RD's. I don't shoot on automatic very often, unless I'm in a patrol, breaking contact and all that "oh sh*t we're screwed" kinda stuff.

Sounds good. I only use mags that don't rattle. I'm pretty light on the trigger compared to most players, so even a 110rd mag goes for awhile.
By the way, that battery I have in my M4A1's AN/PEQ-2 gives this carbine an insane rate of fire! I couldn't believe it. Neither could my buddies (I was OPFOR) in the last exercise. :)

Is that a remote control car battery or something?
Anyone else here having feeding problems with G&P 130RD mid capacity magazines? (Not the rifle's fault)

Gunfreak,
Nice loadout.
Things I think are wrong :
- try to smile ;)
- this .45 holster isn't used by grunts
- black boots were not used
- your 45 ammo pouch looks like a WWII model. The Vietnam one is OD (but maybe it's the picture)
- an M56 small arm ammo pouch on both sides would be better.
- the watch ;)
I'll try to smile. yes it's a ww2 pouch, i orderd a nam one, but it was out of stock, and i just needed something there, as it was a bit, "naked".
boots are just there as they are better then sneakers. forgot to order jungle boots, but they are on the top of my list. Nam style watch is on the list to:)
about the holster. My character is a type of "Barnes". guy that kinda got witsted during his first tour. and is on his second or third now. a guy that will to anything to win the war. and i just feel that ha sholder holster fits the character better, and a guy like that would have no problmes getting he's hands on one

There have been a lot of problems with G&P midcaps. Tsunami, Excel, and Airsoft Elite are the best bb's.

Airsoft Elite white .20 > all.
A desiginated marksman is just a rifleman who scored expert on his BRM an has a special DM rifle either based off the M14 or M16A4. Their job is too provide accurate medium/long distance fire that is outside the range of a normal rifleman.
Snipers are quite a bit different, also I've seen USMC an US Army troops wear ghullie suits in Iraq for different missions. In a city though, you won't see guys wearing a ghuillie suit since they aren't needed an looking like a bush or a hunk of sand, etc won't help you blend inside of a building.

Eh..mp7 is a bad beginner gun, and it's over 200$ for the gun alone. The mp7 is small, tiny barrel, small battery, expensive magazines, probably a pain to upgrade..
If you want something decent for 200$ Go with a UTG mp5,AK47 or an SRC new armalite.

Yeah but only 1 brand makes TM Mp7 mags so far- and that's TM, almost every other gun has mags made by different brands which are alot better deals.
Like G&P midcaps for instance.
And doesn't the TM mp7 only hold,what 50 rounds?

You're right, it is gay, but it is also retardedly funny, for example:

Cut down one of the normal loaders to fit in a mag pouch, aond conveniently, it holds 30rds! p-)

Put illumination tape (cats eyes, etc) on my front and rear sight assemblies (old trick):
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y222/TacoDelRio/DSC01571.jpg
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y222/TacoDelRio/DSC01572.jpg
Works pretty damn good. With the nose-to-the-charging-handle cheekweld, I instinctively sight through the 200M aperture. I've got tape leading from the front sight assembly up to the post itself, with the post taped as well. Just put the glowing magic rod (ewwww...) onto the bad guy's center-mass, and squeeze a few times (hahaha)... that sounds a bit dirty. But it works.
Death.
03-10-2006, 07:27 PM
Wouldn't it make more sense to have the glowing sh1t on the circle of the rear site, and on the front site post? Eh?
TacoDelRio
03-10-2006, 07:30 PM
Not really. If you want to be an artist with the tape, go for it. I like ot have it leading up to the aperture, since I end up looking through it anyway. The line indexes my eye on target.
The glow from having the entire aperture covered in glowtape might f*ck up yer nightvision, and blur the sights so you can't really see.
Hey, if you are skilled enough to do that, by all means put it together. I'm not too coordinated or good at arts and crafts. Try it out and post pictures!
Death.

I wish my backyard was that big. T0o bad I live in a condo.
Anyway, I do alot of training. I'm ex-military (Army Infantry), and all I really care about in life is getting back "into the action", as dumb as it may sound to some people. I don't care, it's all I've ever really excelled in, to tell you the truth. I do alot of mountainclimbing, going up a new peak every weekend if I have the money, run 4-7 miles every other day or whenever I have time, do lotsa PT and stuff. Fun stuff.
I use airsoft as a force-on-force training aide. I can't shoot at my friends using real guns, because chances are pretty good that they won't get back up. Airsoft is a good, safe "walk phase" method of "live-fire" training.
Whenever I get the chance, I do my mountainclimbing and stuff with a full loadout and an airsoft gun, or sometimes with one of my rifles or shotguns. Going up a 10,000ft peak covered in ice is alot different with 30lbs of gear on you, and a 60lb rucksack on your back.
Here's a couple pictures of one of the areas I train in:

That's because you live in a state where the highest point is some 400ft ASL! Near Alabama. I think I've been near it during a funeral I was working at.
Mountain climbing has a sort of addictive side to it. When you finish one, you say you'll never go up another hill again. Sorta like how after you eat alotta pizza, you never want another slice ever again! But you keep going back....
Plus it's real good for the heart and lungs.
If yer ever out here on the left-coast, come on one of my land-nav exercises. I'll make it especially steep for Floridians! :)

I guess this counts as loadout, since it's in my first line gear whenever I go out into the woods and sh*t:

Comes in handy.
Rhodesian Rig (millionth time):
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y222/TacoDelRio/RhodeRig1.jpg
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y222/TacoDelRio/RhodeRig2.jpg
EDIT: I have "Medical" on that pouch as it holds pressure dressings, and medicine. I also have it written upside down, as sometimes I have the pouch mounted upside down. Under stress, some people can't seem to read upside down, so hey, why take the chance?
Comfy, but I found I run faster for longer periods of time wearing ALICE gear. I climbed a nearby mountain wearing this loadout, and found it was rather uncomfortable, restricting my breathing.
However, I like having the chest rig for mountaineering, as it keeps my waist clear for rappelling (harness or Swiss seat). But it's easier to move with heavy stuff at higher altitudes up steep slopes in ALCIE gear, since it keeps your chest clear. I guess you can't win.
Anyone have any suggestions for mountaineering gear that allows you to breath at high altitudes, yet works with a rappelling harness? Perhaps there's a rig out there with a rap. harness built in?
-Must work with rucksacks! (No SWAT vests, plate carriers MAYBE)

I used Krylon Camo paints, as you would have guessed. Most Walmarts stock Camo paints. As for someone asking about Foil tape, I've seen some Walmarts with them, but some may not. Lowe's carry many different types of Foil tape. Make sure you get the "Sandable and Paintable" version.

The finish is not sticky, because I applied thin layers of paint. And yes, I did cover the inside of the vest to keep it "clean."
