I don't care about the realism that much. This is all fake anyway. Everyone knows it's airsoft by being in this thread, so I'm not trying to fool anyone. Besides, I will have to ship these guns soon and I don't want them to get snatched. I only wanted to show off the camo. Yes D3ath, it is the KM SVD.

The polished slide glock isn't mine - it's gay. Mine's on the right, the slide on the top of the pic is mine as well....also the Fossil watch ,and wallet, and Propane adapter cap, y0.

I see someone used my Foil technique. It doesn't look bad from a distance away! After looking at the vest, I just realized how much the ACU lacks in brown. Nice work. One question, is that A-15 the springer version, or the electric?

I've got alot of work to do. I don't have anything exactly right yet, I'm just piecing it together with what I have available. DCU's, boots, generic knee pads, a generic tac holster, and some old paintball gloves I had lying around.
I've got links for the knee pads, gloves, and the rhodesian vest, just need the money to pick them up. The flak jacket is proving a pain to find online, and I can't find a 5x5 patch for the back anywhere. They're either 4x4 or in one case 6x6. I'm thinking I might have to have one custom made at the local shop out here.

Thanks guys. As for the flak jacket, I think my best bet would be searching all the surplus stores around here and hoping to find one. What makes it even worse is I need two, because I'm also building a S.T.A.R.S. loadout...lol
That will be a lot easier though, because I'm going for my own version of the game's loadout.
And Mr. S, I have this link here (http://www.majorsurplusnsurvival.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=MSS&Product_Code=156687&Category_Code=23) for the rhodesian rig. And I meant to ask you about a week ago how many M16 magazines you think that would hold, but you were somewhat banned at the time.
TacoDelRio
03-23-2006, 08:07 PM
I wonder if that thing is worth the cash. Looks like a cheapo ripoff.
http://www.worldcamo.com/main.htm Has carried M83's in the past, but I think they are out of stock at the moment. It is listed under the EQUIPMENT tab on the left side of the site.
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y222/TacoDelRio/rsa-83v.jpg
I'm pretty damn sure it's real gear, not the cheap stuff. I would definitely go for the actual stuff instead of a repro, otherwise you'll find yourself with a bunch of torn nylon and fake Fastex buckles lying around.
Description says six double-mag pouches, so 12 mags if you don't fill up the general purpose pouches.
Seiran
03-23-2006, 08:51 PM
Well damn, all I need now is for some company to start making a Tavor rifle/conversion kit and I'm all set...lol
**EDIT**
I checked around some and found some reviews on the vest, apparently it's not as bad as it looks. And the total magazine count came out to 10, though he did say the single mag pouches were a bit of a pain to use.
TacoDelRio
03-23-2006, 09:19 PM

I'd take a FAL over a high-speed Tavor deal anyday.
Seiran
03-23-2006, 10:01 PM
Well there's always the Micro Galil too...hehe But for nearly 1k for just the conversion kit...me thinks not.

No offense Death, but airsofters play with a hugenormous amount of unnecessary gear in order to look "authentic".
On the practical side, if he gets hurt or lost somewhere, he can use the lights for signaling. Sometimes when I run or carry a ruck for PT, I have a lightstick tied to my ruck/pack/camelbak/whatever to traffic can see me.

Lights are good to have. I have 2 LED on/off chemlights in red and green and several 1 time use ones for when I need to set up for the night or to mark a room after clearing. Not to mention the LED ones are good for illumination or the red to conceal myself outside at night. Inova 24/7 is for signalling as its a lot stronger and still then I will have a light on my gun as well.

MILSIM, of course! How'd you not know it skorot!? They use them so the air support to tell of their location so they don't blow em up when doin the gun runs!

Wouldn't you know it last two times I was injured and stuck in the mountains, I lost my strobe light (Inova 24/7), then again that kinda motivated me to walk my ass back outta there. My hands smelled like ham.

I was playing this CQC the other day sporting my PROUD weesatch. I've been carrying only one mag in each integrated pouch to avoid applying too much pressure on my midriff and I've been fairly satisfied with the carrier.
This time, however, I had two mags inserted in each pouch(except for the ones on the side) carrying a total of 10 mags and I really found that the vest only gets to it true level when it's fully loaded. It ROCKS! Amazingly fast reloads and it doesn't get in your way whatsoever.
I've been totally underrating the vest's assets and now I've seen the light!
Plus, I have to add, the PROUD vests really are of good quality. I've been abusing it on a harcore level and no signs of the vest falling apart yet!

Our lumberjack-CQC at an abandoned sawmill. I'm the one in the white-dominant shirt. And yes, I know the carrier is hanging a bit low in the front, but I didn't actually notice it until the game was over and I saw the picture.

That way he can see more, and not only the iron sights. It's very handy in a CQB. He can also pick up a target a lot faster, works something similar to a red dot sight.
EDIT: I must add, really. Some of you really look at the pics with a magnifying glass, There's no way you could notice that by just quickly overviewing a picture of that size :D
Not that there's anything bad with that, it just amuses me :)

Great loadout Tenda. That's a Wasatch/Weesatch you're running with right? Just a suggestion, that rig should ride high (meaning pull the straps more so the rig will move towards your neck closer) the bottom of any plate carrier should end on top of your belly button. If you pull it higher you will have more flexibility for bending and such....
just my .02 but then again great pieces of gear....

I got all of this in the mail on tuesday. The vest is a TAG modular plate carrier in coyote of which i am really liking. The vest is really comfy and I put 4 cardboard plates in the plate pouches to stiffen it up, though those will be replaced with replica SAPI plates next week. I currently have attached two esstac shingles, two esstac double shingles, and an esstac small utility/medic pouch- all in coyote brown.
Future attachments- I want to get a velcro panel for some patches, a double 40mm pouch and a double pistol magazine pouch, and a hydration carrier for the back (though I may just 550 cord attach my camelbak to the back)
Btw, I realize that some of the pouches are attached wrong in this picture, I was so excited that I didn't take the time to attach them properly  - but all is fixed. Just not in this picture :)

Ouch!
I must disappoint you, i don't have one!
there are several shops in Belgium that sell AEG's, if you want the Tokyo Marui or Classic Army ones you're gonna be looking at a pricetag of 320 - 350 € for an M4 or M16.

Since we have quite muddy time of year in Finland, I'm rather waiting summer and using my Haix Airpower pro's (goretex) instead. And no need for "real" ACU as Bulle ACU is quite good repro. Only diffrence to real one, is velcro panels and lack of IFF squares. Real ACU would cost around 150 euros here in Finland so Bulle is quite good compromise for 60 euros. I may change that to issued one, when prices come down.
