Sadly not harris bipod or 20 round mag... yet?

Actually he took my Harris bipod off, along with the G&P midcap (100) 20 round mag.

I put alot of work into the SPR. I bought it out of AEX with their extreme upgrade package which included Systema Torque Up gears a polycarbon piston and M130 spring. It does about 420 fps, which is enough. It used to look like this:

It's a CA M15A4 with a G&P VN front set. I wanted it to look retro and new at the same time. The inspiration was Duke Togo from the manga Golgo-13. He was an assasin who's signature weapon was a custom M-16.

(nowadays an IED can be inside a dead animal, disguised as rocks, looks like trash, etc.) the EOD units then roll out to investigate, and defuse if applicable. its f*ckin IRAQ, so theres punk ass terrorists everywhere, they get to the site, setup a perimeter and get to work. the navy EODs are actually special operation capable, so they are qualified to jump, dive, etc.

they're HSLD because they have to be. these calls come in at a moments notice. intel at an suspected IED site isn't always up to date, they have to be ready for anything. definitely hats off those they EOD guys, "mucho cajones"..

do you just assume I'm trying to emmulate USN EOD if I have an "EODish" pouch. Go to the STS sale thread by Glass2 and youll see what I mean. It is not an EOD pouch, it looks liek one and is much smaller. Im not doing an impression at all of EOD. Its a Force Recon DA rig that will have an EOD"ish" pouch on it for stuff that I need....read more, talk less...Ive been told this a lot and have tried to grasp the concept...

wrong. First off, the FSBE AAV was replaced by the FSBE II kit which included the CIRAS LAND for FR, who used the FSBE. Your also leaving out FAST, the other guys that use the FSBE AAV, and still do today. there are still a few FR units that use the FSBE AAV, why? Because it is a good rig of course and some guys still havent been issued the FSBE II kit.

and EOD is under the SOCOM spectrum as a SOF capable unit. Your getting the point of EOD being SOF completely wrong. They are SOF becuase they are highly trained to diffuse bombs under combat situations. They also need to expect to come under a lot of fire. They get the good kit because they are valued and if recognized by the enemy, will be fired upon.

But, I found that all the Mil-Sim players I have played against, I seem to own, repeatedly. All that gear makes them slower, much slower, so it looks cool, but you can move as fast, and they seem to be always worried about dropping something.

Not to say Im not Mil-Sim, I am, to an extent. If the military uses, it use, but if it hinders me or offers me no advantage, I dont use it. Guess Im more of a skirmisher.

Yes it's big, but that hasn't bothered me so far. I can pretty much fit everything i will need to carry on big games in it.
That is Passport, ID, VISA, Team membership card and so on...
And ive never had any problems carrying it underneath closthing either.

But Spec-Ops released a smaller one recently... :)

EAGLE makes GREAT gear. While I still think its really friggin' expensive (probably because it IS really friggin' expensive!), it's a good deal overall, simply because it works and stays together.

By all means don't buy cheap crappy gear obviously, but $3,000 for a f*cking vest is very much in the realm of mentally retarded people with far too much currency. Faaaaaaaaar too much.

Hell multicam is AIRSOFTPAT anyway, so that vest technically is the airsoft version..no military is gonna use that crap for it's cost

My humble Green Beret style loadout. I didn't go for a body armor replica, as it's too hot to wear them. Most of the equipment strapped on is postioned where it is balanced, allowing me more mobility and comfort. This loadout is somewhat reminiscent of the 10th SFG (Task Force Viking, and some of them wore woodland) in Northen Iraq during the start of the Iraq war.
