PLus check this pic out of a cadpat vest, notice how nylon tends to have a different color because of its material!
http://image.pbase.com/u47/milphotos/large/30660326.MilPhotos3.jpg
That's because it's an earlier version of CADPAT than the uniform I have on.
In essence, it's digi-pat while the rest of my uniform is Cadpat.
That's why it's lighter.

Feck the photos work now... Don't like Seals action gear ordered a load of gear from them and the Cadpat Print is so off, if the Army uses Brown not Pink Brown then fair enough...
wouldn't touch it with a stick tbh.
Nice Boonie and issue clothing rocks :)

Any Questions or comments? Have a great day
so you don't drop it, lose it while running etc...
Damn, that's pretty dumb. I don't think anyone who would drop their pistol should be an operator, real or airsoft :P
Also another question. Where do you purchase your equipment online? That is if you purchase it online. I'm interested in getting some milsim equipment for paintball, and I've only found a limited amount of vests and such. Thanks.

The thing about LF it is uber slow at times if they don't have the stock, they don't mention it at times so you don't know until you order it and get a reply saying ti is going to take 10 weeks for it to arrive...
But when they have gear they are pretty awesome, they have a lot to select from.
Optactical is awesome they have impressive customer service, I have never visited a better online geardo shop :)

Yeah, I hear that. Took a friend of mine 6 months to get his stuff.
I was a little more lucky - 3 months.

I am a member of Direct Action here in Jacksonville, Florida.
My primary weapon is the Classic Army M15A4 Carbine. It is fully customized with a Samurai Red Dot scope, Israeli Sayeret Special Forces Rifle Sling, SOCOM silencer from Classic Army, G&P M203 grenade launcher, G&P flip up sight for M203, and full internal upgrades (all Systema parts). The gun is shooting 400 fps.
Secondary weapon is customized AK47s from Uncompany. It features a full metal body, real wood kit, real steel folding stock (had that done myself---the stock one is made of POS pot metal). The internals are all Systema parts, the gun is firing at around 406 fps. OOps, a little high....
For clothing/gear, I usually wear Woodland fatigues with boonie hat (full face paint of course), mesh military gloves, combat boots, and a genuine Israeli Reconnaissance Vest.

that S.I.R. system is very sweet. I am almost 100% sure it would work on the Classic Army. My squad leader is going to be getting it for his ICS M4 (the new ICS). I also figure if it'll fit on his gun, it it'll fit on the Classic Army. I wouldn't recommend many other R.I.S.'s than the Classic Army R.I.S. since it is made for the Classic Army. I think the G&P R.I.S. will work with the Classic Army.

Well, you basicly...... explained it would fit the CA, ICS virsions, so why not just add in TM too. Or, just say, it'll fit everything.
Either way, it'll work for a CA gun.

Well, I got a lot of new stuff latley, so I'm going to repost my standard load out, thankfully this isn't my entire collection of gear, but here it goes.
-G&P Olive Drab F.S.B.E (AAV)
3 Dual M16 Magazine Pouches
2 Pistol Magazine Pouches
2 Glow Sticks
6 Industrial ZipTies
1 Carabiner
1 Hydration Pouch
1 Radio Pouch
-LC2 Tan Y Suspenders and Belt
4 Triple M16 Magazine Pouches
1 Medical Pouch
-TC2000 Replica
Shower Curtain Fixture to act as NVG Mount
-TC2001 Replica
-Tan SkiCap
-Shooting Glasses
-RAID 3 Color BDU's (I put my breast pockets on my shoulders, and my lower pockets on my calves)
-OD Hatch Kneepads
-Alta Desert Combat Boots
-Blackhawk Hellstorm Gloves
-3 Color Desert CamelBak Thermobak
Usually I dont take a full 18 magazines out, but I usually use the FSBE by itself with the pouches, or have it look like body armor, and remove the pouches when I use it with the LC2, although I can wear my ChiCom (6 Magazines) with 6 magazines in my FSBE, and another 12 on my LC2, and another 3 on my theigh. That means 27 magazines. SCORE!
Now to the weapon.
I have a CA M15A4 Series M4A1. On the way is a G&P QD Suppressor, G&P Aimpoint Comp M2, a King Arms Cantaliever Mount, a Surefire G2, and a barrel mount. I have already given it a base paint, and I'll get some pictures up. It has an M120 in it for now, but I'm going to put some other stuff in it soon. Eventually I will get a real steel RIS system and mount a G&P M203. I also cut the hand rail to place my Aimpoint in the middle.
Being in Arizona, I have given it a 2 tone tan and brown paintjob. I'm going to put more brown in it as fall comes around, and once its winter and spring, I'm going to put some more OD, medium ammount of brown, and some tan.
Pics comming soon.

Hav, wtf do you need 27 Mags for? I carry 10, thats more than i need.
I usually carry full 12 in my LC2. We like to be able to continue playing. Just move your spent mags into a back pack, and keep going. The group I play with is very MilSim. Also, it's great for big op's when you have 150 people on each side, and are promised to encounter a large group of guys. Anyways, I have a 27 magazine maximum, but it's always fun to try and get more. I'm actually looking into replacing my 2x M16 pouches on my FSBE to 3x M16 pouches, so I would have 12 on the LC2, 3 on the theigh, and....12 on my FSBE, maybe 15.
You do have a point though........
They need to have a WW2 Big Op. I've seen Vietnam, and Modern, and apperantly a lot of people are into the WW2. My next setup is going to be World War 2, American. :D
The gear is expensive, but it's not like I havnt wasted a small fortune already with my gear. What would you guys recommend? I was thinking about the thompson, but as far as I know, there isnt a garand out yet.

My rig is a set of BHI LBE suspenders attached to an SDS Gen-1 MOLLE Belt. I use BHI pouches for my G36 mags and a SPEAR Mp5 pouch for my Glock mags. I also use SDS pistol mags. My holster is a Bianchi UM92 "Cobra."
BDU top is by Propper, pants are Royal Robbins 5.11, boots are Oakley "Standard Issue."
I am using a drum mag for this game (standard mag is shown in the gun to enhance the photo), so I didn't have my ammo pouches on here.

I personally love them. I've been using my UM84 for 16 years, and never had any complaints.
The UM-92 Cobra holster is fully adjustable to fit just about any large-frame automatic and has a two-snap thumbreak, it's very secure. The holster I have is designed for guns with tac-lights, but they make a standard model as well.

He was poking fun at the fact that there is something similar about you (at least in that picture). You're not the fat, disgusting f**k that he is, but there is something. Heh I gotta upgrade from my Surefire G2 to something else. I do not suggest immersion in water with the polymer lights, as mine had black and silver battery acid leak out of it. It still works, and on the same pair of batteries too, might I add!

I have yet to really invest in an AEG. Me and my roommate used to CQB with springers and it was fun, but I haven't found enough people to play to drop three hundred bucks on a good auto (Im thinking AUG when I finally do). Well all of that stuff has been aquired over time. Probably 4 years now. Also, some of my stuff isnt just used for airsoft. My WWII loadout is also used for reenacting.
BTW, that list doesnt include all the small things (i.e Bivy bags, tents, and other necessity items) that I have and use for overnight games and camping trips.

Understood.
I just got a new Dutch tent in their usual camo pattern. Got any experience with them? I'm getting tired of just lying in dirt with a poncho liner when it's 20 degrees out in the desert, and I'm hoping this will be an improvement to "roughing it".

No, I havent. The only tent I have used is a WWII repro shelter half. For everything modern I use a goretex bivy bag, and a poncho liner, not to mention layers of clothing. It has worked so far, even this one time when the weather took a turn for the worse and got down to 20 degrees that night. Little chilly but I survived ;)

Mostly British stuff, which means:
soldier 95 uniform along with a hat,
bullet proof vest,Mk VI helmet,
PLCE webbing,
and what not;
clansman-racall headset with throat mike,
SA80 AEG by Academy (not depicted here),
M15A4 by CA,
S&W Sigma (CO2)
and most of all:
black cat named Umbra (it's Latin for "Shadow"); not British, but European ;o)
There's also an All Terrain Reconnaissance Vehicle "Trab Rover" (formerly "Trabant", an Eastern-German vehicle much loved by Bono), which is extremely useful during longer scenarios:

It's an AEG by Academy. Unfortunatelly, it's not working the way I'd like it to: self made hop-up makes the BBs turn sharp to the left...
But one day I WILL find this bloody Famas hopup chamber and the "eighty" will sing like Boticcelli :oD

I currently have a custom folding stock AK-47 with a scatchbuilt GP-25. For back up, I use a WA Xcellerator.
US Woodland/Desert Camo
Molle RACK vest
I'm going to switch to a Russian/ Kazakhastan loadout so the vest will replaced with a Tarzan M25b vest, xcellerator with a KSC CZ-75, and the camo will be either Les or Reed patterned.

If you have a seldom used TM aeg preferably an M4A1, remove the gearbox and place it inside an academy L85.
it will fit, trust me. then get a decent metal hop up assembly.
hope above helps..

Nice BFM, Mcuz! Put some weight in that biznatch!
I have an OD BFM I got in Benning. It's alright. I now has two small tears on the very bottom, so I suggest you reinforce the bottom. I've put hundreds of miles and hundreds of pounds through that thing, and that's the only gripe I have.
Otherwise, have fun, and sorry for the intentional double post.

I own a glock 23f, get used to the odd jam on full auto, especially if you own the hi-capacity magazines. I run mine off of propane, and am going to invest in a metal slide for it. Keep it very well lubed, and you should be fine. And by the way dont expect it to be a great target shooting pistol, it shoots them in any general direction. Sometimes left, sometimes right, better shooting in groups of 2-3 shots as it seems to only jam after prolonged full auto. You selector switch is going to be "stiff", make sure it stays that way and sometimes to change firing modes you have to slide the slide back slightly to properly slide it into place. Overall its alot of fun, ive dropped mine a couple times and its been fine. Mines smaller sub compact so expect some better accuracy.

Bastardchild:
I rarely shoot mine. It's a defensive arm for me. A very, very fast shooting one at that. I opted not to buy the longass "floor-mags", or hig-caps. We call em floormags at work cause they drag on the floor. We coined the term when a guy came in asking for hi-cap mags for a Desert Eagle in .50AE. rofl
Believe me, I'll keep it lubed! At least that's what she tells me to do! ;)

Rzuk,
Your team might want to try this: WALL-BODY-WEAPON
If, for example, you are moving along a wall on your right, you'll want to hold your weapon in your left hand. Switch off. That way, when you pie a corner, or move anywhere at all, you won't expose so much of yourself to enemy activity. Turning right in a hallway intersection? Shoot left handed. Turning left? Shoot right handed. Otherwise you'll be a bigger target! Hence, WALL, then your BODY, then your WEAPON in order.
Just a word of advice.

Bingo! all what u wrote is true and i know this(u even can't imagine , how offen i was hit becaouse of this) the problem is in shooting right handed(I usually holding weapon in left hand)I' tried it many times , but my accuracy turn to extra low in this case :(
Well it's nothing , i can do , but practice..always keep practice p-)
One more thing , first and second pics were posed p-) last is from "action"
TacoDelRio

If you suck at shooting from either shoulder, just keep training with it. I messed up my shoulder when I ran into a wall (part of one!), so I learned myself some left handed shooting!
MP5's are the easiest for me to use left handed. M14's are a bit more challenging, but eh, so what.
The bigger it is, the harder it gets. (zips up pants)

And sorry to double-post, but one thing my team does is stagger our shooting side (short on words here I'm a poser whaddayaexpect).
Team layout
1-RH
2-LH
3-RH
4-LH
5-RH
6-LH
ETC. RH being Right hand and you get the rest. It ends up looking like a cactus, hence why I call it the "Cactus Formation", even though I'm sure I missed somethign in MOUT training and it's probably called Parrot's Nutsack formation or something like that.
Hope it gives ya some ideas.

That works well while patrolling, but not so much for MOUT based stuff. During MOUT, remember to cover all 4 dimensions, Forward, sides, back, and up! And, keep your body between the wall and your weapon.
Thank you for advices :) We reading a lot about black tactics too, and trying to put it in our games, but unfortunetly many times during the hard action all that we trained became useless.. why??
i really don't know :|
During our "treinings" we ar realy teamplayers and awerything is going rifgt , but in action many times we are getting distracted
We have still no commander , somone who always make decisions , and maybe that is the key...
Well time to change it :)

Cool WWII Germany outfit!
Yeah the actual Cactus layout I spoke of should work well in the streets here in Southern Commiefornia. Once, you transition INTO a building, thats when CQB takes over MOUT. In alot of places here, if you had the right rifle, you could technically hit somethign at the end of the street over 2,000 meters (or yards) away. Long straight roads with short buildings, nothing like NYC or anythign that grows UP, we grow OUT.
We've got the CQB stuff covered OK. We rarely play indoors, and places around here for indoors play are so crappy, like a zipper factory. Really sucks, and makes you think that they'd just drop a Mk84 2,000lb bomb on the place and call it a day, rather than clear it out.
