Wait, because i laughed at an airsofter for saying "NEVER CARRY AN M16 BY THE CARRY HANDLE IN CASE YOU COME INTO COMBAT!!!1111111" I'm obviously ignorant when it comes to handling weapons. I can see your flawless logic there. I wish my E ***** was as big as yours!

I'm still amazed how people are able to move effectively with all that gear on. Either way, nice loadouts Sandman..it looks authentic.

I remember my buddy in the military saying once that too much gear can work against you in certain situations. I remember seeing a video of a couple of SEAL operators in Ramadi earlier this year in a firefight with loadouts similiar to those above. Maybe in extreme urban warfare, long distance running isn't emphasized since they're mostly doing quick short sprints?

Thanks, Kilo 1-1, but I'm not even in any of those pics. They're a team who call themselves NSW-8. They are probably the best looking team here -- probably the richest, too, judging by all their gear.

Judging by your posts you are:

1) Terrified of Blarney
2) Knows nothing about proper weapons handling, and
3) Disrespects just about anyone in the forum

So that makes you about 12 years old and doesn't get much attention at home so you try to get it here.

It's a product by Adventure Lights. 1st setting for infrared, it's somewhat visible reddish. The top, middle ,and bottom LEDs light up. 2nd setting those 3 LEDs blink. 3rd setting, the left and right LEDS light up green to illuminate objects within 10ft or less, just enough for what's close by. Maybe rescuers without nightvision can help spot you also. There are various version of this safety light. Scuba divers use a yellow version that uses a single orange light.

That was a bad one xD. Say that to my mom not me. All started about year ago when I needed new curtains for my room. My mom called me and said: "honey, I found you a beautiful curtains. It got stars and its blue and white..." "It's USA flag" "No it's not, I'll buy it for you" So try to undestand her. :) and it was USA Flag, as I said. Now it's in the cellar where my other gears are located.

Mick0

Heh, we'll see if I find somewhere a good Finnish flag what will fit better than the USA. :)
And I think the US flag will fit on wall as long as my gear is based on USA stuff. If someday I'll start Russian gear collecting I think the flag will change in the same time. ;)

Mick0

Well I prefer SA91 shoes (with warm socks obviously) in the winter, issued by Finnish Military. But I also own McAllister desert boots, but they aren't waterproof so I use them only in the summers.

[EDIT]

Maveric. very nice load out and your m40 kicks a$$. fantastic paint jop too.
about your pistol... did you have to use any tools to make the surefire 610R fit your Kimber?
I'm asking because "Elvis" had to use a thing called dremel to make his fit on his MEU.
And because my 610R won't fit my MEU either.

Maveric
11-11-2006, 07:42 PM
yeah it requires abit of work. I just took about .5mm off the inside housing on the 610r, and that seemed to do it for me .

Maveric
11-11-2006, 07:52 PM
yeah the slide release has to modified unfortunately i modded my slide release abit to much and ruined it :D (yay me!) so i did some custom work on my WA one instead to entend that and make that work with the 610r. which was much more successful and is workin' a treat :)

My airsoft loadout is fairly simple.

My team is a 'merc' style team.

I use:
Faded US Woodland BDU Trousers
Jungle boots
OD Russian Tactical Sweater
M23 Forest Tactical Vest
OD/black Facepaint
Black Fingerless gloves
Shooting glasses
Forest Bandana.

That goes for most of my team as well.

Basically the SpecOps Logistics pouch is similar to the HSGI EMDOM, but a little bit smaller (3 rows of MOLLE PALs against 4). Inside it has several compartments useful for all the small stuff we need while playing.

Very nice. Do you also have a 'Nam era SOG loadout?
If I'm not mistaken, this is your 80s SEAL loadout right? If so, the last picture's really awesome, but it could be 10% better if you had the muzzle pointed upwards. The SEALs had a habit of pointing the muzzle up when they were breaking contact (not the ones providing cover fire).

I'm looking for a M4-RIS (which is easy to upgrade to a metal body)

but is marui the best brand to buy a M4 from?
or is there a brand who has beter quality whit their M4-RIS

hellow people
I'm new on this forum.
found it via gooooogle,
and i think its great whit all the cool photo's and stuff.

I'm from Holland, and it not allowed to play Airsoft here.
so when I want to play, I have to go to Belgium.
I'm working om setting up my own Airsoft set.
and i already have the Beretta M9 tactical master from Marui.
but now I want to by a AEG.

but I cant realy take a easy look around in a Airsoft-store.
could someone plz help me out?

I'm looking for a M4-RIS (which is easy to upgrade to a metal body)
like te M4-RIS from marui.
but is marui the best brand to buy a M4 from?
or is there a brand who has beter quality whit their M4-RIS

tnx
let the belgians help you out :p

heey people..
another question..
do's someone have a VFC?
and what are the weaknesses of the VFC weapons?
I wanted to buy a M4, but found out about the VFC HK416.
I didd't know the HK416 was out yet.
and VFC is the only company who makes the HK416 in one piece.
so I dont have to buy any more body upgreats for the M4..

so... who can tell me the weaknesses of the VFC AEG's...?

tnx

Their AKS-74U was superb, like a work of art. It had feed problems with certain brands of magazine but that was operator repairable and didnt detract from the overall functionability of the gun. In a few days I might actually be close enough to an HK416 to see if their band of excellence continues.....

Hi! I'm not sure if this is the right place, but this is my first post so I wanted to introduce myself a bit.
I live in Finland and have played, more or less, actively airsoft since my friend introduced me to this magnificent hobby 3 years ago. (Wasn't really good speech, was it?)

Anyway my loadout:

- Eagle platecarrier with cummerbund
- BHI pouches
- Safariland 6004 with KSC Glock 17
- CA M15A4 with replica Aimpoint
- Oakley M frame
- Standard KL desert BDU

Well I thought I quote my picture after seeing the KCT documentary.
My CAM15A4 is now a Diemaco C8A1 with the correct trademarks.
