You should have had one guy designated as 'The distraction' jump into the river **** with a target painted on his back, have him swim the opposite way that your traveling...get the rest of your team safely across....

Better yet, if they were wearing dresses, everyone would be laughing so much, they wouldn't be able to shoot streigh.

It may not be correct, but leave it to the Europeans to "Look Good".

Bad drills, but far more comfortable!

Some of our lads did a tactical river crossing (bergen raft, wearing shreddies and trainers/beach shoes) just the other week.

It was -5, they had to break the ice first before they went over... :(

Those dont look like BHI STRIKE m16 pouches to me. Althought it might just be the blur..



Its the blur. :D I have the Strike pistol holster on the right side, two double pouches across the front, and a single cell pouch on the far left of the chest rig. An issued IFAK pouch is being carried on the right side PALS webbing on the back of the OTV. Since this picture was taken, I have attached the pouches directly to the OTV and use the chest rig for games when I'm not wearing the full armor.
Everything is in Coyote tan, so it all blend together.

haha guys, did nobody notice that this picture was a little bit photoshopped? :D look at the reflection in the water on the right side of the picture, the "gangway" to the floating thing has been removed by a friend of mine (in the picture on the right i think).

our gear is nearly realistic. the jagdkommando (austrian army special forces, quite similar to rangers or seals) also wears a lot of personal bought stuff like backpacks, boonie hats or different shoes, so it has realism :D

and yes, we're taking fire p-)

€: it would have been too cold for river crossing. not that we are not tough guys, it was simply too cold and we either had enough clothes for changing, nor the time to make a fire. the problem is, that the special equipment for things like this is often very expensive. some of us (like me) are in the austrian army federal reserve, but we didnt fetch our equipment, because the mills of bureaucracy are going slow in austria :|

All airsofters should boycott buying G&P ACOGs until they start making them at least HALF DECENT. I think they started getting lazy after about a year of making them. You cant find 1 good ACOG anymore,

It was cold. I lost the use of my left arm (or right?) from it being so damn cold. It got better after a few hours in a car on the way home. I regained the feeling in my hands after a little less than a week. Temperatures were in the teens, not low, but I'm from Los Angeles, and where that snow is, it's usually about 120 degrees fahrenheit. And, we were not prepared for constant snow. Desert boots, anyone?

Needless to say, that whole "operation" sucked ass. Next time, I'll at least try to prepare for that much snow.

Or a Specops "THE PACK"...i think it's better than TT 3Day, it just let you open the entire pack and not only half of it....as done by a TT 3day pack.

OK, I had this stuff listed somewhere in this thread, but I am lazy like that, so here it goes.

TM SR16,m100 inside, Systema SR16 metal body- Beware even at 180$ that systema body still needs mags fitted in as if it was gold.

TM MP5A5-Large foregrip,low mount -> This thing has had the worst treatment of all my AEGS.And its still running.

G&P M4 Commando - > Best stock quality body and gearbox, Worst stock Hopup unit I have ever seen.

TM AK47S -> best stock AEG I have ever seen.I love this thing. Words cannot describe.Now if it could only fit a slghtly bigger batterie. Im not asking for much , just like a 1500mah.

Actually on another note, it would nice to be abel to get out to a game somewhere near Austria for like a two or three day game, sleep outdoors,eat outdoors etc.With like 50-80 people, that would be some great fun.Anybody got anything happening.
Problem is transport of AEG through different countries. if you have to go through Germany, you willhave to go around germany, cus transporting it through is like transporting a an illegal weapon. Same charge as with a life firearm, IIRC.

Which is why I don't see airsoft as a sport, but a hobby. I don't play to win, I play to have fun, and portray the particular role I'm in depending on the scenario.

...if we have a 24h/lrrp mission me use to make a cache for the pack .
in the pack we put a second set of bdu, sock's, t shirt, rations, a sleeping bag, medik kit...ecc ecc.. ;)

the minimi it's ok but if you want to have good result's change the internal's for reenforced one's.......!!!
for 24h it's too heavy...i you must be fast, silence and lethal....better an normal asg...!!
my mc's full tuned it's lethal as well and cost half...!!! ;)

Yet at the same time I like the idea of having a support weapon, and its something definately different from everyone with Armalites, G36s and stuff.
I am going to save up a bit and try out the hurricane SR47 kit. Just cus its interesting and something different.

If you have a good team of about 5 people with on SAW , you can easily put a team of ten under pressure and force them to withdraw. If you play your cards right :-).

an experience : during a recent game 3 guy's of my team's and me during a skirmish with a bigger team..we're well coordinated and our firepower became lethal like support ones... ;)
