Your finger shouldn't even be in the trigger guard, regardless if your finger is on or off the trigger. If you tripped or whatever when you were running you probably would have fired your AEG there.

Apparently you either are slacking off on your weapons handaling the Army taught you, or the German Military is slack in regards to weapons safety/handaling.

How Travis Haley discribed that ? "Imagine there is a laser comming out of your muzzle, that would destroy everything it touches"

The Enemy was right in the direction were the muzzle shows. Even i fire a round, it would hit the ground. There was no friend between me and the enemy and in that way i was able to deliver rounds while on the move, as i did.

Believe me, there is no other army that put so much attention on weapon safety than
the germans.

So the only thing is, you are not able to appraise the situation. I got a tons of pictures (from this year) and everywhere the finger is outside of the trigger guard as it has to be.

This was to adapt to the situation.

He also teaches to keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you're ready to fire, like all Marines are taught. It's airsoft, but there's no way you can talk or excuse your way out of that piss poor display of weapons safety in that picture. You can't "deliver rounds on the move" when your weapon is pointed at the deck and you're staring at the ground 10 feet in front of you.

Dunno, if you know this or not, but that OD shirt with the Canadian Flag on it is just some custom shirt an not an actual Canadian Forces t-shirt right? You should probably just stick with the name tape with name only IMO cpgear.com has the option of doing just the name, aswell as the name and crossed swords(Army), etc

Eddie_uv777

I'm aware they just wear a solid color shirt. I just wanted THAT specific shirt. Some buddies have a problem with me wearing a Canadian load out and a Canadian flag so I bought it to piss 'em off.

And yeah, I got my name tape from CP Gear.

This is what my kit looked like, though I rarely used a butt pack. I had two sets one for inspection (turn-in) and then the real set. The real set had the metal clips cut off the suspenders and replaced them with 550 cord; a whole lot more comfortable, especially when rucking.

Expect a wave of 550 cord'd suspenders now.

HA HA. Those metal clips, especially the back ones would dig into the lower back or just above the hips and give nasty bruises, especially humping a large ruck. When a former RI showed me the 550 cord thing it was like an epiphany from the Big Ranger in the Sky.

I had a couple spots on my lower back that got rubbed raw from those metal clips during Basic. Our DIs told us of the 550 cord replacement, but we obviously couldn't do that to our ALICE gear during Basic. I haven't worn ALICE gear since though, so I didn't bother doing it to the set I was issued at my first unit.

^^^ Nice kit, but if you want a really nice tourniquet get a SOFTT. It has a metal windlass instead of plastic. So when used on a thigh it will actually hold true unlike a CAT's windlass. I carried both in Iraq, I just prefer SOFTT compared to CAT. CAT works great on arms since there isn't much pressure to stop bleeding there. But once you get to a thigh, sometimes you need 2 CATs to stop the bleeding depending on the size of the thigh or if the first one failed from twisting. (broken windlass)

Hopefully they switch out to something more robust, or just add it to your guy's issue. We (US) can order the SOFTT or the CAT. We normally have a large stock of both due to the CAT being in CLS bags, and medics will carry the SOFTT.

I dig your kit a lot. As everyone else said, simple but fantastic. Always wanted a RS SVD but I can't justify its purchase. I don't do "sniping" it would just be a wall hanger. :(

You know when trying to reach out to an English speaking audience, you'd think they'd let the guy that doesn't have the horribly bad almost not understandable accent. Yet, they have that scrawny dude who I can barely understand do every episode, it should be the fat guy. I can understand each word he says.

I've read a report recently that Marsoc was in a shabby state. Seems to be true if the stoned "operators" are spilling their guts on MPNet. I can agree to the fact that spelling skills surely are no requirement for Specops.......but I was under the impression that at least an average IQ was...my bad.

The US military is clearly so desperate for recruits that education standards have slipped again, requirements have been dropped from allowing guys who are "pretty dumb" to "absolute retards" as you clearly demonstrate.

So where we need vests? BB's wont hurt you, so you don't need any fancy vests. Well yeah in the army that would maybe ruin your life, if you werent wearing your armour when youre getting shot.
Did you know that the groin protector is part of the vest i bought, so it has some reason to be there? Maybe it's a replica of the real thing to look cool?

Hi!

I'd like to add my knowledge about the US Army in Iraq (2006-present) and wondered if someone is able to post a list like the one in this post about Marines: http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?64051-Pics-of-your-US-Marine-kit&p=2480137&viewfull=1#post2480137

I already know quite much about the gear they're using out there but the correct list what is issued to soldiers out there would really be nice.

I'm sorry if it's already been posted somewhere. Couldn't find it though.

You could join the US Army and get all that cool stuff for free! p-) And even get a real weapon issued to you!
