But China is different now. China has comea long way forward from the Long March days.

Books on communist theory might help if China were a communist country, but these days they are pretty firmly capitalist. Plus you have to factor in that a lot of the people with power, including important PLA types, also have large vested interests in the buisness sector.

That was nothing. They just wanted a look at the EP-3, and to demonstrate whos turf it was. Far worse, IMO, was when a US tomahawk took out the PRC embassy (or consulate) in Serbia a few years ago, due to an apparent intelligence failure IIRC. But nothing came of that either.

The PRC can be pretty blunt with its diplomacy (they put the battleship back into battleship diplomacy, if you like), but they aren't the only ones.

hehe, I am an oversea student here, after I graduate I will return to my country. Actually during my times here I cant think of anyway that I am some how happier and free. I cant wait to graduate and be back home with my family. Australians are great people, very friendly.
