Somehow I can't see tank commanders liking not being able to see or shoot to the rear... though with a nice tasteful deck chair they could have a nice patio for bar-b-ques... :P

Might help with HEAT warheads but most top attack submunitions use self forging fragments.

Heh, I think this is an example showing when you ought to weigh the disadvantages against the advantages. I'd love to have enemy tanks with those roofs as it would give you a good opportunity to spot the enemy tank and level your main gun on it before it even got its GPS up to spot you.

Even thin antennas sticking up are quite easy to spot sometimes.

Call me old-school, but I don't think that's the way to deal with top-attack stuff.
