This question is to both Democrats and Republican voters.

Soon the US election will be, I guess most of you have noticed that.
If not, I strongly advice you to do some searching on this forum, and you will see that we for a long time already have had some quite interesting and well balanced debates and opinion-swapping.

But that is not my conscern: you see, I am a foreigner and do not have the right to vote in your election.(Wich I am very thankfull for, cause both Bush and Kerry are good candidates, and will serve the country well whomever get elected.)

What I ponder on you see is this: Whoever of them two gentlemen winning; How long after the final result will you whine and tear your hair here at the forum?
How many ranting hate threads will you make at the forum, and for how long time?

Thank you in advance...

I'd say that you'll have to give whichever side loses a week or so to rant about how they were robbed. Then maybe these forums can start to talk about something different (like Military Photo's for instance). :D

I disagree with your statement that both are good candidates. They both suck!

Don't worry. Soon after the election, we Americans will be past our momentary distraction and will thus able to focus the majority of our rage upon the Europeans once again.

Some of us have enough bile so that no one need feel deprived.

Any controversy in your elections you'd like to share? Maybe we can help you hate someone in your country also.

Dear Sir, where have I in this forum or anywhere else on the Internet and in private stated that I hate either Bush or Kerry?

Are you what Lars Sponheim called a Harries? :D

Do you follow the Labour Party, the Conservatives, the Progress Party, the Socialist Left, the Christian Democrats, the Centre Party or the Liberals?

(Just to get a Norwegian political thread going in this forum)....

The Confession

We all been young, and when being young you tend to be quite radical in your opinions. So was I. But my first vote when turning 18 went to the Labour party, knowing that a vote for the smaller radical parties would be a waste.
Then in the next election I had regrets for that I did not "stand by my man", so then I voted Red Election Alliance, wich is semi-communistic.

Then as years went by I slowly turned more conservative, untill I finally voted the Conservatives in 1994. But after 1998 I've voted blanc cause I do not trust any political party nor politician. I still vote though, but it is given to none.

No no no! I wanted you to tell me which politician I should hate in your country...I have plenty of hate to go around. But not as much as my cats -- they hate everybody.

Hate is such a strong word. I can not say that I hate anyone. Specially not the politicans in Norway. Should I?

I'll stick my neck out and make a prediction on the election's aftermath:

If Bush is elected, there will probably be more arguing against his policies not only here on militaryphotos.net but around the country-- I wouldn't be surprised if the anti-Iraq war movement grew to what it was during Vietnam (but not an anti-War on Terror movement) or, perhaps, a groundswell of discontent similiar to Nixon's post-Watergate tenure in office.

If Kerry is elected, there will probably be even more discontent from the right (I refer you to the hatred directed at Clinton when he was in office) ; however, I think moderate Republicans might not be as peeved because, deep in their hearts, they know they've been hoodwinked, manipulated and lied to by "their" leader.

Unfortunately, this has been one of the most divisive elections this country has every experienced, and I don't think it's going to change much after November 2nd. So, braced yourself for more of the same.

If the Republicans lose, about a week of whining.

If the Democrats lose, they're still whining about the last election.
