I'm watching Bill Maher's new show on HBO, I watched last week's show and could barely stomach it and this week I'm just as close to puking. This guy thinks he is so friggin smart, just about every point he has tried to hammer home by making some snide remark, has been wrong. He has no clue what he is talking about, yet he thinks he is so informed. Another left wing idiot with no grip on reality.

I used to really like this guy, but I think him getting booted off ABC really hurt him mentally. He feels like he's on a divine mission to be right now at any cost. I watched last weeks show and ended it there. I can't stand people who ask the guest a question, and then when the guest gives a full and thorough answer, Maher has to cut him off _EVERY_ single time because he disagrees with him, in hopes that he'll show contempt in this way. If you're going to *@#!'ing do that, don't even bother to have him on. Ugh.

I've never really liked him, though I agreed with some things he would say along the way. But the guy is a friggin pompous, uninformed ass. He gets some pretty intelligent people to come on and then has to intercede when they are talking to try and make himself look smart and switched on. Get a grip.

Dennis Miller has an hour long special on HBO coming up soon.

And as far as what Bill Maher talks about. Well he talks about political and global topics but manages to butcher all the facts in a vain attempt to make himself seem education and relevent.

I heard Dennis Miller wanted to quit his show for some reason. I think he was tired of it. His rants were the greatest though.

hah my favorite part of the show was the black and white pictures with the commentary. 2 of the favorites that I remember were:

a photo of queen elizabeth and george bush jr were standing next to each other, but not looking at each other, kind of looking as if they were in an awkward moment. His comment was "queen elizabeth and george bush jr share an awkward moment as they wait for an interpreter."

The other was his awesome portrayal of colin powell as a general badass with: Powell is standing at the podium and has 2 fingers on his glasses as if to adjust them and miller says "You know Colin Powell is getting serious when he starts removing all his breakables."

Great stuff.
