Guys, just wondering if anyone has pics of U.S. Special Forces or others using commercially-available camo in combat operations?

I had heard through the rumour mill that some SOF guys were using King of the Mountain wool camo on mountain ops in A-stan.

Here's a pic of a hunter wearing the same camo that is rumoured to have seen action. This is top-of-the-line cold weather virgin wool hunting camo and what this guy is wearing would set you back over $1000 US.

That stuff does look warm, and I'm a big proponent of wool. But $1000 seems like alot of money.

I have a wool set from Columbia similar to this, but minus the hood on the jacket:

Set me back a couple hundred, but they are very nice.

I'm also curious to know if there is a confirmation on the SF uses though.

I'm almost positive you can find a picture of a guy wearing a HSGI Denali under some sort of hunting pattern jacket in Afghanistan. I think you can find it on the HSGI site, under real world photos or something like that.
