What is a good way to attach a Sure Fire to an M1A? (Other than 100 mph tape or tie-ties. ;)) Can you get small rails to screw into the side of the stock? Thanks!

Velcro.
I'll try that if staples don't work. ;)

Just remember when that velcropatch gets dirt say bye bye to yer surefire. It really doesn't secure it properly in place when brand new either, it's gonna wobble. Your gonna end up taping it or anchoring it with paracord anyway.

You could just do the same thing that I do.

I had one of those on a 12 gauge 870. The flashlight kept falling off. Bolt on a Picatinny rail. You can find a Picatinny flashlight for $20 @ cdnninvestments.com
