Merrell's

I'm looking at buying a new pair of boots. I want to use them from hiking to everyday. I have a pair of Oakley boots and they rock but I don't like the squeaky noise it makes when it has contact with water. I was looking at the Merrell Chalmeleon GTX XCR lows. I have no experience with merrell boots. Anyone got any of their footwear? How is it? Thanks

I wear Merrells here in Iraq,no probs with them whatsoever,not too hot in July,and comfy in September,good solid boots,can't remember what they are......sawtooth mids I think?
I bought them specifically for here.......good boots!!That said I'm gonna try and get me a pair of the chameleons or a pair of Saloman GTX mids

The Chameleons Ventage(I'm not sure about hte spelling, but it is similar to this)is surrently issued to SEALs for VBSS, it is Grey coloe and is a mid-boot version, I would like to have one if possible, but I can find the "civilian" version only, which is Cherring Grey color, but a little bit difference in color with the one issue to SEALs, also I have a pair of Merrell Sawtooth, which is very comfortable, especially for a long trip over 8 hrs, I tried before.

I am currently using Original SWAT rough out boot in tan, it is durable and very comfortable. I also have a pair Merrell, it is the slip on version and it is super comfortable and pretty durable.

I really like my Danner Agitator 45's but Merrell has a large selection of great boots to choose from. Shop around and see what fits your needs, best. They both make great shoes.
