Personally i have little enuthisasim for this war it should have been finished over 12 years ago when I was out there. I doubt Saddam has any links with al queda ones a fundamentalist others a secular mass killer. HIs weapons of mass destruction are unlikely to be able to threaten anyone yet. but the sanctions hav'nt worked just hurt the people but take the sanctions downand saddams has the money to rearm and start all over again. He has to be put down like a mad dog there is no way he isn't going to start something given a chance. France and Germany either want to prove there not Bush's poodle or want to sell more stuff to baghdad either way they end of looking foolish saddam needs to go. Most anti war people calim we would'nt start from here but we are here now so what other options are there?
